REPAIR/MAINTENANCE TO SEWAGE SYSTEM, DAY TO DAY CLEANING OF SEWAGGE LINES, SEPTIC TANKS, SOAKWELLS, MANHOLES, AREA DRAINAGE SYSTEM AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT MD LOC UNDER GE (EAST) AGRA

Cleaning/clearing of chocked sewage lines of any depth by removing any type of blockage from sewage drain pipes upto and including 150mm dia to 300mm dia by rodding or any other means from manholes to manholes or from trap and flusing with water after cleaning. Sludge/sludge water to be disposed off through septic tank & soakage well/pits and sludge in form of semi solid/loose state will be disposed off in a pit (the rate for digging & closing of pit with soil is including in the rates) including taking off manhole covers,cleaning and re fixing the same after disposing off sludge and other foreign materials outside of the Defence land upto a distance of upto 1Km into a low lying area . Sewage lines cleared/cleaned under this item is to be maintained and kept fully functional by removing any type of blockage. (a) The sewage lines and all the manholes shall be maintained in functional state through out the year i.e till completion of work. No extra payment shall be made and only one time cleaning of same line will be paid in whole contract completion period.

M&L for cleaning of spot blockage of floor trap, nahani trap, gully trap, urinal out let trap, WC (Indian or EWC),WHB, Sink outlet by removing the CP or PVC grating and CI oval access door etc of any type including cleaning of sludge & removing to out side of Defence Land complete or cleaning and removing of spot blockage by any means in between trap and up to Ist manhole of any size and depth & removing of sluge to a distance of upto 1Km into a low lying area and including cutting/clearing away grass vegetation , saplings, shrubs ,brushwood ,undergrowth ,roots compelet all around of manholes upto a distance 1.2m & along pipe lines both sides upto a distance 2m , compelet all as specified and directed . Note: (i)02 Labours for cleaning of manholes/nahani trap/ gully trap manually Or way of any other suitable means ,will report to AGE B/R-I complain cell at 0845 hrs daily except on holiday, failing which the recovery @ 500/day per person will imposed to the contractor as the clearing of sewage blockage is an essential work. (ii) Trap cleaned one time shall be maintained in whole contract period and no extra payment shall be made.

Pumping out sewage water from septic tank & soak well where required by Sewer Suction Machine as directed with taking precautionary measures including tools & plants as required and removal of sludge and other foreign materials out side of the Defence land including taking off manhole covers, cleaning and re fixing the same after disposing off sludge and other foreign materials outside of the Defence land upto a distance of upto 1Km . Waste shall be dumped in excavated dump pits and shall be disinfected using bleaching powder Or waste Deposited damp to nearest STP of Cantonment or Other Department (working in foul condition) complete all as specified directed.

Cleaning and desludging of man holes of up to 1.5 mtr depth including taking out sludge in any form alongwith all other foreign materials by mechanical equipment or manually or by way of any other suitable means, including and dispose off sludge and other foreign materials out side of the Defence land upto 1Km into a low lying area and re fixing of man hole covers etc complete (working in foul condition) all as specified & directed.

Cleaning and desludging of man holes exc 1.5 mtr but n.exc 3 mtr depth including taking out sludge in any form alongwith all other foreign materials by Sewer Suction Machine and dispose off sludge and other foreign materials out side of the Defence land upto 1Km into a low lying area and re fixing of man hole covers etc complete (working in foul condition) all as specified & directed. Note: Manhole measured in item no 04 shall not be repeated in this item

Description all as per Item No 5 above but exc 3 but n.exc 6 mtr deep and ditto-- Note: Manhole measured in item no 04 & 05 shall not be repeated in this item

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 M wide and not exceeding 1.5 M in depth for foundation, manholes, etc n.exc 10 Sqm plan and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No 7 above but exc 1.5M and n.exc 3M deep

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layer n.exc 25 cm thick in each layer all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus soil excavated materials to a distance exceeding 50 M but not exc 100M and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.
