MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF TRANSFORMER, HT UG / OH LINES AND E/M INSTALLATION AT NORTH, SOUTH AND MUTAGA CAMP, ATS SAMBRA BELAGAVI

Surface dressing in hard / dense soil /aggregate not exceeding 15cm deep and clearing all the grass weeds etc at E/M installations as directed after removing and spreading back the aggregate twice a month or as directed upto the completion of work in each sub station and E/M installation as directed.

Excavation in trenches for laying underground cables, poles and stays in hard / dense soil not exceeding 1.5M wide and not exceeding 1.5 M deep and getting out, complete all as specified & directed.

Excavation in trenches for laying underground cables, poles and stays in hard / dense soil not exceeding 1.5M wide and exceeding 1.5 M deep but not exceeding 3.0 m deep and getting out, complete all as specified & directed.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cms thick, complete all as specified & directed.

Removing surplus excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point, complete all as specified & directed.

Material & Labour for providing cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling & mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed

Material & Labour for providing cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling & mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed

Material & Labour for providing cement concrete PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as coping around poles etc complete including necessary formwork and finishing the exposed surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Galvanised Iron pipes 80 mm dia, light grade with all fitting and fixed to poles/route/drains, ceillings or laid in floors, complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting the tar macadam road / hard standings for laying cable and excavating not exceeding. 1.5 wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out all as directed including filing back and finishing it with PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, complete matching with the surroundings.

Dehydration & filtration of old/ existing transformer oil including topping up of transformer oil with portable filtration cum dehydration machine to improve the dielectric strength minimium 60 KV within 1 minute with 4 mm Gap at site of any installation in GE(AF) SAMBRA area of any capacity/make of transformer installed on pole mounted, indoor/outdoor type plinth mounted complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) All necessary T&P / testing equipment/dis connection /re-connection of electric supply and shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. No extra payment shall be made to the contractor. (ii) Contractor shall ensure that there shall be no wastage of transformer oil. (iii) Contractor shall ensure that conservator tank is full to its level before starting the dehydration. (iv) New Transformer Oil required for topping up shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of this Schedule. (v) Testing of dielectric strength of dehydrated transformer oil of each transformer shall be carried out in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge and cost there of shall be borne by the contractor.

Supply and filling in replacement new mineral grade transformer oil EHV type conforming to IS-335 of 1993 test requirement for corrosive sulpher of BDV not less than 60 KVA for topping up of reduced level of distribution/ power transformer due to evaporation / leakage / losses due to dehydration in transformer oil duly filtered with filtration plant to obtain high dielectric strength not less than 60 KV (gap 4mm) complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed barrels with test certificate. Cost of barrel shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor and empty barrel will be the property of the Department and same shall be deposited to the AGE E/M Store Yard. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Inspecting, servicing, testing and calibration of 33 KV SF 6 / VCB Breaker with control relay Panel as recommended by OEM by deploying expert inspector cum engineer and helper of authorised associates of M/s Crompton Greaves Company for followings :- (a) Properly clean the VCB with a CRC-226 & ensure proper lubrication in VCB (Electrical contact cleaner). (b) Removal of old grease & regreasing the same eith recommened frease. (c) Check condition of SIC contacts, alignment jaw contacts, proper tightening of hardware, proper closing of all poles together. (d) Check & adjust gap between hyleum sheet and side plate. (e) Check pressure of all circlips. (f) (i) Check IR between Phase-Phase (VCB closed condition) (ii) Phase-Earth (VCB closed condition) (iii) Phase-Earth (VCB in open condition) (g) Any faulty spares / parts to be replaced with new one.

Supply & Fix cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290) including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilled holes for bolts, in any shape or size for 33 KV/ 11 KV over head structure with & including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer, fixed as in repairs, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Size, section and shape of steel sections shall be as directed. (ii) Weight of paint shall not be considered for payment purpose and quoted rate shall deemed to be included this aspect.

Supply & fix in repair porcelain vitreous HT 11 KV bushings with brass studs suitable for out door distribution transformers of capacity 63 KVA - 300 KVA after removing the old u/s studs/bushings and draining out the transformer oil from the top level up to conservator of the transformer and removing the top cover of the carefully and refixing and refilling the oil complete all as specified and as directed. Note - The transformer repair / servicing works shall be carried out only by engaging specialized and experienced technicians. The rate shall be included making necessary arrangements to remove the oil in the conservator in safe drums and refilling after the repair works.

Re-straining/ re-stringing/tightening of existing HT 11 KV over head Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) and GI earth wire of any size/ type upto permissible sag in between existing span carefully without damaging other components such as insulators etc of HT distribution system with & including repair to broken conductor where required and replacement of binding wire with new 2mm dia aluminium binding wire complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Unit for measurement and payment for this item “RM” is comprising of 3 Nos ACSR conductors and one GI earth wire in line.

Material and labour for fixing lightning arrester for out door use expulsion type with all fittings suitable for 11000 volts HT line transmission class of discharge capacity 65 KA including taking out the unserviceable lightening arrester, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white brown or green insulator including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two galvanized iron washers and one galvanized iron nut, 150mm height, 150mm dia for 11000 volts grade complete including taking out the unserviceable all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix disc insulator, porcelain, vitreous 145mm high and 255mm dia ball and socket type, white, brown on green suitable for HT 11 KV complete including taking out the unserviceable all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for repair to existing switch air break, gang operated outdoor, vertical / horizontal mechanically operated type, HT 11 KV, Triple pole by cleaning and servicing to operating mechanism, greasing etc of all joints for smooth operation replacement of defective parts where as required to make it fully functional with smooth operations and testing, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Labour component required for the replacement of unserviceable parts shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates in this schedule. (ii) Major parts where required to be replaced shall be measured and paid for separately as 'Supply Only' under relevant items of this schedule. (iii) All T&P and minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers etc shall be arranged by the contractor and the cost thereof shall be demeed to be included in the quoted rate of this item.

Material and labour for servicing of servo controlled volatge stabilizer of capacity 100 KVA of make : Servo, situated at AF NET by disconnecting the LT cables and draining out oil complete and taking out the core and checking the continuity and insulation values of all three phases, reinsulating if required and inspecting and replacing the PCB in case of repair, repair and servicing of breaker, removing and cleaning the sludge from the tank, refilling the oil after filtering by using online centrifuge machine and obtain the dielectric strength of oil not below 100 KV at 2.5 mm gap including testing of volatge stabilizer by reconnecting the disconnected cables and calibrating complete all as specified and as direcrted. Note : (a) The rate shall also deemed to be included the rate for (i) Technician, Electrician and labours (ii) Supply and fixing of drain valve to the voltage stabilizer suitable for of make : Servo. Material and labour for fixing earth pit indicators made out of 3 mm thick MS sheet of size 200mm x 150mm duly fixed in MS angle iron 25mmx25mm of 450 mm long to be fixed to ground by means of cement concrete including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and writing the earth resistance complete including excavation and earth work PCC type C1, 1:3:6 of size 150 x 150 x 150mm all as directed, including dismantling and taking out the old rusted / out lived earth indicators all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for PVC alkathene sleeving 15mm dia as per IS standard for Jumper connection on HT/LT poles heavy duty all as directed .

Supply and fix in repairs switch air break gang operated, triple pole, mechanically operated, mounted on insulators & steel frame with operation mechanism worked from ground level for current rating 200 Amps, 11000 volts complete all as specified and as directed. Note - GOD shall be vertical type / horizental type which ever is suitable as per site requirement.

Supply & fix of drop out expulsion fuse single pole 11000 volts, above 25 Amps and upto 50 Amps complete including taking out old U/S one all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for spray painting of transformer upto 300 KVA capacity with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of smoke grey colour over a coat of red oxide primer after thoroughly preparing the surface, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for painting of GOD cross arms and channel with clamps by scrapping rusted surface by applying one coat of aluminium paint including support GOD handle, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only distilled water for lead acid battery of Main receiving station, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for repair of 3 phase battery charger suitable for charging 55 Nos 2V 100 AH battery by segregating old unservicable burnt out PCBs, internal wiring, MCBs etc including replacing them with new one, installed at 33 KV Main Receiving Station, complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting tree branches below, top and around the OH conductors not less than two metre around the line and keeping the line clearance through out the contract period by trimming the branches repeatedly as many times as required, depending on the growth of new branches including clearing the site by removing the branches to a distance not exceeding 50 m all as directed .

Supply & Fix Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) of any size as directed, stringing for overhead line on HT poles including jointing with and including aluminium binding wire 2 mm dia, jumpers, line tapes, conducting jelly, stretching properly and connecting with suitable PG clamps, etc including dismantling and taking down old existing unserviceable aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of any size/ type / capacity, complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) The ACSR conductors shall conforming to IS-398 (Part-II) and as specified in SSR Part-I. (ii) The unit rate quoted shall also deemed to include for supply and fixing of binding wire, aluminium tapes, etc which shall not be included in the weight of conductors for payment. (iii) Weight of conductors shall be determined by measuring the horizontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductors of that size and length and 3% extra shall be added for sag, jointing, jumpers etc. (iv) Weight of the conductors shall be calculated from the nominal weights given in tables in the relevant IS code.

Material and labour for spreading 40 mm coarse graded aggregate (blue metal) in the substation yards at a thickness not exceeding 150 mm complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Aggregate should be layed after scrapping of existing aggregate and levelled at various transformer yard as indicated.

Disconnecting HT/LT Connection of 33/11 KV Power transformer 2.0 MVA capacity and identifying the leakage by visual inspection and other available technique and rectifying the leakage by welding/brazing etc after draining out transformer oil including refilling of transformer oil after dehydration complete including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note - Contractor shall responsible for:- (i) Arranging the drum for storing Transformer oil. (ii) Any damage during leakage arrest. (iii) Refilling the existing transformer oil after filtration to remove moisture carbon particle and to achieve dielectric strength of oil minimum up to 60 KV. (iv) Testing of transformer oil and the payment will be made under the relvant item.

Supply & Fix in repairs insulated synthetic mat nominal 6.0mm thick confirming to IS: 15652-2006 ISI marked suitable upto 33 KV Colour blue standard roll from 5m / 10m to minimum joints and width of Each mat shall be 1.0m complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Overhauling and Servicing of OLTC unit for HT transformer of capacity 33KV/11KV, 2 MVA comprising of the following:- (i) Servicing of all mechanical gear wheels and moving parts, latches and releasing parts, over driven stopping and restarting mechanism complete (ii) Cleaning of complete OLTC control chamber and fault finding and rectification (iii) Repairing to control wiring, replacement of burnt wires, lugs, etc (iv) Lubricating, greasing of all mechanical parts (v) Servicing to electrical auxillary contactors and limit switches and HRC fuses complete

Painting of old painted surface of chain link fencing of mesh size 50 x 50 mm by scrapping rusted surface by applying one coat of aluminium paint inside and out side of 33 KV yard & other sub station including cement paint of cement pillar compelete all as directed

Material and Labour for HT cable Route Indicator with a welded/riveted disc of 4 inch dia and engraved with cable route maker made out of angle iron 40 x40 x 4 mm thick , inserted in ground with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 concrete using 20mm graded aggregate at approx distance of 100mtrs including necessary earth work etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Overhauling and Servicing of CT - 12 Nos and PT- 06 Nos for HT transformer of capacity 33KV/11KV. Note :- Quoted rate is inclusive of necessary sapres parts complete.

Supply & Fix GI continuous earth wire or guard/cradle made to shape of 3.15mm or 4mm dia as directed including Galvanized mild steel binding wire 1.63mm dia including dismantling & taking down old existing unserviceable GI continuous earth wire, guard, cradle, etc of any size from HT poles including disconnecting from the existing system complete all as specified & as directed.Note :- Galvanized wire shall be measured & paid for under this item and clamps, eye hooks where provided shall be measured and paid for separately.
