REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF DG SETS, AMF PANEL AND CERTAIN ASSOCIATED WORKS AT AF STN UTARLAI

M&L for monthly 'A' Check Inspection of DG sets of capacities as described in Ser Item No. 1.01 to 1.27 including alternator, electric panel board connection to DG set etc for smooth functioning and carrying out maintanance as required at site and directed by Engr-in Charge. Note: Items/ Spares required shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BoQ i) Checking engine oil level and topping up as and when required. ii) Checking and adjusting the belt for tension and replacement of belt if required. iii Checking of oil bath air cleaner level. iv) Checking of exhaust system for leakage v) Draining of sediment from fuel filter and fuel tank vi) Cleaning of air cleaner elements vii) Checking engine alternator coupling, mounting bolts and alignment viii) Tighting all nuts, bolts, in altenator terminal block ix) Checking of alternator carbon brushes and connections in alternator. x) Checking and tightening of all connection in DC control wiring. xi) Checking of all radiator rubber hoses for leakage and replacement if required. xii) Checking and recording oil pressure, water and oil temperarute for smooth functioning. xii) Checking anti vibration mounting pads for any deformation. xiii) Checking throttle linkage for smooth operation. xiv) Checking battery for cell test, electrolyte level, gravity and topping up to required level xv) Routine check / repair work of panel, switches, MCCBs, main switch, all contactors, engine control unit etc. xvi) Checking of AMF panel, all electrical connections etc. xvii) Checking of earthing resistance xviii) Cleaning of vegitation around the DG set up to 1.5 mtr area. 'A' Check Service shall be carried out as described in ser items No. 1.01 to 1.27

M&L for 'B' Check once in Six month OR 250 Hrs running whichever is earlier DG sets of capacities as described in Ser Item No. 2.01 to 2.27. Inspection, maintenance and serviceing including alternator, electric panel board connection to DG set etc for smooth functioning and carrying out maintenance as per OEM instructions and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:Items/ Spares including 'B' Check kit, coolent, lubricating oil required shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BoQ i) Repeat the activities of 'Á' Check services ii) Replacment of lubricant oil. iii) Replacing lubricant oil filters element with O rings vi) Replacing fuel filters element with O rings v) Replacing air filter elements with O rings vi) Replacing coolant. 'B' Chech Service shall be carried out as described in Ser Item No. 2.01 to 2.27

M & L for dismantling, transportation to workshop and back, opening, rewinding main winding assembly and refixing DG set of 40 KVA to 63 KVA Capacity, alternater, three phase, 415 V, 50 Hz with super enameled copper wire of existing gauge and existing class insulation including superior quality varnishing, heating / drying coils, making connections from coil to terminal box, spray painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint inclluding repair/replacement of diode plates for neutral & phase and repair / replacement of AVR, connecting, testing and commissioning at site for satisfactorily operation as required and directed by Engr-in-Charge..

S & F in replacement of Alternator connection terminal block suitable for 15 to 320 KVA DG Set alternetor as per existing sample complete all as directed by Engr-in Charge.

S & F in replacement of Controller unit suitable for DG Set having capacity 15-320 KVA. Make of controller as per DG set complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L in replacement of battery stand frame of size 4 feet x 1.5 feet with height of 1 feet made of 50x50x6mm angle iron and support with flat iron of size 40x6mm, duly painted, 20 mm wooden plank on top to place 02 Nos batteries complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for taking the Diesel Generating set from CPH to civil workshop where repair to be carried out safely, dismantling the engine completely for repair and top over hauling of Diesel Generating set 500 KVA capacity any make, carry out required repair as per manufacturer's instuction including replacement of all defective parts as required for smooth functioning of the DG set complete.

M&L for servicing / cleaning of air intake manifold assy with requsite tools and air pressure to remove dirt & foreign particle completetly including replacement / repair to fiexible coupling of silencer / exhaust manifold to ensure no leakage of exhaust inside the canopy complete all as directed.

M&L for cleaning / derusting for inner cushion foam (insulation) of all inside canopy to achieve neat & cleanliness of gererating cabin with requisite air blower / dust sucker suitable for the job complete all as directed.

M&L for replacment of dioade, DE and NDE bearing of AC generator and warnishing field coil and armature assy complete all as directed.

M & L for two coats painting of outer surface only of canoply acquisite of generating set inculding cleaning and derusting and preperation of painting with requisite tools and painting with white bright super enamel / synthetic paint colour including rewriting of machine no complete all as directed.

M & L for leakage rectification of radiator, cleaning, pressure testing complete as required and directed.

Testing and tunning of DG set with load test complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Diesel tank cleaning complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Rewinding main winding assembly and refixing DG set of 100 KVA Capacity, alternater, three phase, 415 V, 50 Hz with super enameled copper wire of existing gauge and existing class insulation including superior quality varnishing, heating / drying coils, making connections from coil to terminal box, spray painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint inclluding repair/replacement of diode plates for neutral & phase and repair / replacement of AVR, connecting, testing and commissioning at site for satisfactorily operation as required and directed by Engr-in-Charge..

S & F Outdoor type double door front and rear openable AMF Panel made out of 3.15 mm CRCA sheet powder coated comprising of incoming MCCB , 4P – 2 No. + 4P contactor -2 Nos., auto changeover and manual changeover for bypass arrangement with operating relays complete wiring including Digital multifunction meter for measurement of Amp., Voltage, Frequency & Energy for three phase supply complete with battery charger for DG Sets suitable for DG set of capacity 40 to 63 KVA including connecting with existing electrical system testing and commisioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge
