| 2.01OUTER SHEL :- (a) The outer shell of APFC shall be made out of 3.15mm thick CRCA sheet steel free floor standing (11 tank power coating process to provide better protection against corrosion) & MS angle section 50x50x6 mm frame factory fabricated with front & back open able, single door system lockable/ openable by keys from both sides having chromium plated 19 mm dia fancy locks, louvers & air vent gasket for natural flow of air. ‘U’ types gasket shall be used to make the outer shell completely vermin proof. The bottom of the outer shell contains a detachable plate having provision for entry of armoured cable of adequate size with glands. The outer shall be powder coated with pure polyester Siemens grey structural RAL 7032 shade. (b) The dimension of the outer shell should be adequate to accommodate inner shell described below giving minimum 75 mm space all around & shall be fabricated in such a way that the complete inner shell along with its control gears / accessories could be taken outside without disturbing outer shell. The outer shell shall be mounted on a zinc metal-coated stand having zinc coating not less than 100 microns. Provision of treaded earthing stud at bottom & lifting lugs of suitable size at top to lift the APFC panel safely shall be made. The degree of protection of outer shell shall be IP-54. | ||||||||
| 2.02INNER SHELL :- (a) Inner shell shall be made out of 2.0 mm thick CRCA sheet suitably compartmentalized for front & back open able single door system lockable/ open able by keys from both sides having chromium plated 19 mm dia fancy locks, louvers & air vent gasket for natural flow of air. ‘U’ type gasket shall be used to make the inner shell completely vermin proof & to accommodate incomer/ outgoing MCCBs/MCBs and TPN copper bus bar of rating not less than the 1.5 times the rated capacity of the incomer MCCB. The TPN bus bar shall be insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeve and shall be mounted on suitable size ‘F’ class insulators made of non hygroscopic, non combustible, track resistant, high strength FRP/MC/DMC material at an interval not more than 500 mm through out the length of the TPN bus bar. (b) The incomer MCCB as well as outgoings shall have copper TPN extension links of current carrying capacity not less than 1.5 times the rated capacity of individual feeders. The extension links shall not be less than 300 mm long supported on suitable size ‘F’ class insulators made of non hygroscopic, non combustible, track resistant, high strength FRP/SMC/DMC material having provision for termination of incomer and out going cables. All inter connections between the main bus bar as well as outgoing feeders shall be carried out with TPN copper bus bar of rating not less than 1.5 times rated capacity of individual outgoing feeders & should be insulated with heat shrinkable PVC sleeves. All control wires shall be with 2.5 sqmm multi strand copper conductors and shall be properly bunched, tied, ferruled for proper identification and crimped with adequate size of lugs. (c) The APFC panel shall have a bottom channel of size 75x40mm duly coated with zinc metal coating having thickness not less than 100 microns. A detachable predrilled gland plate of thickness 3.15mm power coated shade should be used at the bottom. The inner shell shall be of powder coated Siemens grey structural RAL 7032 shade. | 2.03MEASURING INSTRUMENTATION :- The inner cubicle shall carry the following instruments :- (a) Digital multi function meter of size 96mm x 96mm to measure current, voltage, frequency & power factor with built in selector switch & having programmable CT ratio (CT ratio should be equal to the rated current carrying capacity of incomer MCB). M&L for XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area laid in trenches / duct or fixed to wall / passing through pipe on pole with suitable size cable glands, crimping type cable lugs for stranded aluminum conductor of size 300 sqmm, 3.5 core cable, complete all as specified and directed.
Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth for foundation, for laying pipe lines etc and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and as directed.
Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each, complete all as specified and as directed.
Removing surplus excavated material soil from site to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs from starting point and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point, complete all as secified and as directed.
M&L for dry river sand, laid in trenches for cable protection, as 8cm thick below the cable and 15cm thick above the cable, complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Punned thickness of sand shall be measured & paid.
M&L for sub class 'B' brick covering protection to the eletric cable, laid dry, flat, transversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning with width equal to length of brick, complete all as specified and directed.
