Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out Soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 2 above but depth exceeding 1.5m and not exc 3.0 m depth complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (salt glazed ware, AC or RCC Pipes) of any description and size set in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for concrete bed in PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregated) to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of the pipes after laying & testing for any dia of pipes complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for SGSW (Grade 'A') drain pipes confirming to IS size 150mm laid in trenches and jointed in CM 1:2 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, laid and jointed complete with collar for the 200mm internal dia of pipes complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 6 above but 300mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 6 above but 450mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 smooth finished, and reforming benching as required for 200mm internal dia of pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Opening of manhole covers, taking out sludge from septic tanks, inspection chambers, manholes by removing sludge in solid, semi solid state or liquid state by manually or by pressure pump including removal of sludge to a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 5Km out of MoD land complete all as specified and directed. Note : 1. Measurements shall be taken only after dewatering of the septic tank. 2. The quoted rate shall deemed to be include the cost of dewatering the septic tank.
