Mild Steel structured and GI sheet Rectangular Garbage Containers for waste collection should be provided with 4 numbers heavy duty legs. The garbage containers should be of approximately 1100 Liters (1.1 cum) Capacity. The Container construction should be of pressed steel section for ensuring adequate structural strength. The body and bottom of the container shall be fabricated by 1.6 mm thick GI sheet and lid by 1.0 mm thick GI sheet. All the Mild steel angles and channel material shall conform to IS 2062. DIMENSION Overall length 1195 mm,Overall width 1000 mm,Overall Height 1030 mm These minimum requirements shall be fulfilled necessarily- 1. Indicative Internal dimension of the container (Length, Width and Depth) 1195X1000X1030 mm. 2. Upper frame angle and lower frame angles for bottom of 50X50X5 mm size 3. Side frame vertical angles ( Four nos.) of 50X50X5 mm size 4. Outside support on container’s both Length side opposite walls of 75x5 mm Flat. 5. Outside support on container’s both width sides opposite walls of 50x50x5 mm angle. Two supports inhorizontal, one upper horizontal support shall be for mounting of lifting pin made of 100x50 mm channel and another one made of 50x50x5 angle. 6. Lifting pins on both width sides of 45 mm outer diameter with 4 mm thick and 120 mm long MS pipe.These pins shall consist of stoppers on their both ends by 65x65 mm or 65 mm dia 4 mm thick steel sheet. 7. Lifting pins shall be mounted on upper horizontal side support of 100 X 50 mm channel. To support these pins, an additional horizontal 100x50 mm flat shall be provided inside the channel. 8. Bottom of the container shall be supported by 2 nos. 100x50 mm channel in width and cross supported by 50x50x5 angle. 9. Twelve holes of 30mm diameter shall be made in the bottom for liquid drain. 10. Containers shall stand over 4 nos. mild steel legs. Each leg shall be made of 120 mm long, made of 3” B class GI pipe. These legs shall be capped by 4 mm thick mild steel plate and welded with the bottomchannel of 100x50 mm channel. 11. Lid of the containers should be made in two pieces by 1.0 mm thick MS sheet and supported by at least3 nos. hinges in each piece. Lids shall be supported by 25X3 mm angles frame inside or by corrugationof sheet. 12. The entire GI sheet shall be riveted with the solid rivet of aluminum /GI nut bolt of suitable size, no welding will allow on GI sheet except hooks and handles. 13. The whole structure of container should be cleaned properly prior to coating / painting. 14. The structure of the containers to be coated with two coat anticorrosive red – oxide primer and one coat of silver enamel paint
