Supply, install, testing and commissioning of Certificate of Type approval for Retrofit Emission Control Device (RECD) and Conformity of Production (COP) Certificate COP issued by Certification Agency as per CPCB guidelines for the period (1st July to 30 th Jun of subsequent year), suitable for exiisting DG Sets of capacity 400 KVA to reduce emmission level as per CPCB-II norms with following requirements as given under Srl No 1.02 to 1.05 below:-

Technical specification :- (i) Type of emission device (working principle of the PM reduction active element) : Output result of the RECD should be as per CPCB-II norms irrespective of the manufacturer's technology (ii) Emmission limits as per CPCB-II norms : PM 2.5 ≤0.2 g/kW-hr, Nox + HC ≤4.0 g/kW-hr, CO≤3.5g/kW-hr, Smoke Limit (Light Absorption Co-efficient ≤0.7 m-1 (iii) Praticulate Matter capturing efficiency : Greater than 70% (iv) Back pressure on engine : No back pressure from RECD to Engine Exhaust system (v) Material of consturction : as approved by CPCB Lab (vi) Emission monitoring from stack shall be tested from any NABL approved Lab (vii) Insulation on emission device : as approved by CPCB Lab (viii) RECD's power requirement : less than 1% of the capacity used for operation (ix) Foundation or installation structure as required and necessary electrical connection are deemed to be included in the quoted rate

(x) Supply of 200 mm MS B-Class exhaust piping with insulation and aluminum sheet cladding on MS supports for extension to existing exhaust piping with bellows /connectors as required as required for the works. (xi) Electric control panel with necessary wiring and all its accessories for smooth of DG with RECD system (xii) Support provided by OEM : Pre supply and inspection, Installation feasibility study at site, Health check-up of existing DG, Type Approved RECD with complete Solution, Educating Dept Staff on usage and operation and maintenance procedure. (xiii) Installtion and commissioning of RECD by authrised and approved OEM only

Scope of work : (i) Emission control system with PRV, Inlet & outlet pipe, Structure with removable ladder and Electric panel with all accessories. (ii) Performance / Characteristic curves at rated load - Under vendor scope (iii) The output result of RECD shall be as per CPCB-II norms, irrespective of the manufacturer's technology (vi) Secondary emission : Bidder shall submit the declaration that there is no secondary emission (v) Noise emission : No increase in noise level after installation of retrofit device (vi) No by-pass arrangement in RECD allowed to let the pollutants in open environment (vii) Testing - Genset shall be tested on all load pattern available at site during post RECD installation (viii) Warranty in all respect of 02 years post completion of work is applicable in RECD installation (ix) Contractor shall furnish manufacturer's written instruction and requirement about use and maintenance of RECD system, its operation and maintenance schedule.

Notes :-(i) Retro-fit emission control system should be as per Statutory Authorities recommendations to achieve minimum specified particulate matter capturing efficiency of at least 70%. The emission control system shall be type tested and approved from CPCB approved laboratories as per guideline of NGT and MoHUA. (ii) Retro-Fit emission control system of suitable rating or sizes shall be installed or retrofitted in existing exhaust pipe with required modifications and suitable design compatible for respective model of diesel engine prime mover of DG sets and have safety precautions to ensure no damage to the engine operations under any circumstances (iii) Safety system provided to engine from higher back pressure, engine vibration, and high temperature operations to avoid any malfunction, it should be within the limits as recommended by DG OEM. The retrofit system manufacturer to coordinate and submit certificate from DG OEM.Cost for the same is deemed to be included in the quoted cost. (iv) The emission reduction will be verified after the installation of unit at site by any of the air pollution labs approved by CPCB.Contractor will submit the necessary certficate.Cost for the same is deemed to be included in the quoted cost.(v) The unit quoted cost includes all necessery RCC civil foundation/MS structure for installation of RECD structures as per recommendation of Manufacturer and as directed by GE.
