Demolishing existing WBM/ WMM/ GSBC/ Soiling etc. in air field pavement by mechanical means i/c stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material beyond municipal limit upto 1KM lead. (Road Permit, if required, is the responsibility of agency. The applicable municipal/ traffic rule & regulation shall be followed strictly by agency at the time of transportation of the materials.)
Dismantling of flexible pavement (bituminous courses) by mechanical means and disposal of dismantled material up to a lead of 1 kilometre, as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity) over areas including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location within all lifts and lead within airport premises. All kinds of soil.
Prepartion and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller/Vibratory road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub grade.
Banking excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, breaking clods, over size material, removal of stumps/roots and the like & watering, grading/ levelling each layer with dozers/ grader and rolling every layer with vibratory roller/ earth compactor of minimum 8-12 tonne capacity to achive desired density including levelling to the required grade and camber, dressing etc. in embankments as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge (The work shall be executed as per MORTH specification). a) All kinds of Soil.
Construction of dry lean cement concrete sub base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS:383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per Table 600-1, cement content not to be less than 150 Kg/cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, laid with a paver with electronic sensor, compacting with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing.
Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of Viscosity grade VG 30 (60/70) including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications. a) 0.50 kg/sqm on existing black topped surface
Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of Viscosity grade VG 30 (60/70) including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications. b) 0.60 kg/sqm on existing concrete surface
Providing and laying of Hot Mix Dense Bituminous Macadam(DBM) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and cement filler of quality as specified and Viscosity Grade VG-30 Bitumen (supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete [for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG-30 shall be taken as 110 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregates as filler material].
Providing and laying of Hot Mix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete(SDAC) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and cement as filler of quality as specified and Viscosity Grade VG-30 Bitumen (supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels,grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete.[for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG-30 content shall be taken as 120 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregates as filler material].

[for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG-30 content shall be taken as 135 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregates as filler material]. Note for item no 3,4 & 5 :- Prior to start of work the job mix for Dense Bituminous mcadam, Semidense Asphaltic Concrete, Dense Asphaltic Conrete etc shall be got designed by the agency from the laboratory approved by AAI and the cost of mix design shall be borne by the agency and nothing extra is payable on this account.
Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate no. of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make as approved by the Engineer-in-charge i/c cleaning the surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete. New work (Two or more coats)
Providing suitable Passenger vehicle (not more than two years old) for cyclinder capacity of minimum 1400 CC, either petrol or diesel driven including driver during the progress of work. The cost shall be inclusive of hire and running charges of vehicle including fuel, mobil oil, driver and maintenance of vehicle. Log book shall be maintained at the office of Enigneering-in-charge. The vehicle provided shall have commercial license. The monthly hiring charges shall be based on vehicle movement limit of 1800 Kms per month and 10 hours per day. Payment shall be made on pro rata basis depending on actual mileage logged on monhtly basis through RA bills.

Laying of HDPE/GI pipe 40 mm dia. along with all accessories like socket,bend,couplers etc.complete with fitting and cutting,jointing etc. direct in ground at minimum depth of .75 Mtrs including excavation and refilling the trench etc as required, but excluding sand cushioning and protective covering.
Excavation of the cable trenches in hard rock not exceeding 1.5 metres in width, and lift upto 1.5 metres, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50 metres.
Cutting of paved surface (flexible/ rigid) and laying of GI/ HDPE pipe upto 63 mm at a depth of atleast 200 mm including making the surface good with cement concrete (1:2:4)complete as required.
Dismantling of existing Runway Light fittings with CI collar ,secondary lead etc. and re-install the same with CI collar,secondary lead,light fitting etc with leveling and making all connections as per direction of E-I-C.
Earthing with G.I. earth pipe 4.5 metre long, 40 mm dia including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc. (with charcoal/ coke and salt ) as required.
Providing and fixing 6 SWG dia G.I. wire on surface or in recess for loop earthing along with existing surface/ recessed conduit/ submain wiring/ cable as required.
