M&L for taking down defective centrifugal pump set 100 HP capacity by disconnecting the pump from motor after unscrewing nuts/ bolts of coupling, foundation, suction pipe delivery pipes and shifting of pump to workshop for repair/ servicing, comprising strip opening of pump, replacement of any defective parts, carrying out necessary lath work, re-assembling and shifting from workshop to site, re-installation at same location as directed by Engr-in-Charge, testing on full load capacity at least for 8 hrs, complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (a) The spares shall be measured and paid seperately in the relevent items given below. (b) Cost of labour for replacement of spares and transportation are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (c) The pumpset shall be spared for one week for repair from the date of complaint given by AGE/ JE E/M regarding breakdown. This is then gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top of upper most cable (ii) For the purpose of measurement only punned thickness shall be considered for payment.

Material and labour in repair for 3 ½ core 185 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheathed laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole, complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour for Cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of GI or any type of pipe including necessary earth work, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, 800 mm wide including making good existing surface with 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting rate for this item and the unit rate is deemed to be inclusive for :- (i) Earth work and excavation in any type of soil (ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed. Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising of 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 Amp by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation including taking down existing one, complete all as specified and directed. Make : Model HTSP 317 of safeTrode or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ FURSE/ERICO.

The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contactor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contactor before commencement of work.

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shall be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contactor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contactor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contactor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contactor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contactor from final bill for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) The contactor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bounded rod to ensure genuineness of material.

(xix) Sign board of mild steel sheet 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing shall be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

S&F in repair copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one, complete all as specified and directed. Note : - All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 7.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm for each electrode pit, complete including taking down, complete all as specified and directed. Make : Model SEPC 250 of SAFE TRODE/ Electrogrip Model/ EGTEK3LC of ISG Global or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ ERICO. Note :- The contactor shall submit load bearing capacity certificate from the manufacturer.

Material and labour as in repair for Earth pit indicator for existing earthing pit made out of 16 mm dia and 60 cm long MS Squre Bar embeded in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone agreegate in PCC block of size 30 X30 X30 cm including CI/MS plate of size 250X300X 3 mm thick fixed on side of earth pit cover complete painting and writing over the plate ie. Type , Result, Date of measurement and pit number with Black background with white and complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing as in repair for aluminium earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall / roof top of for lightning arrester fixed to OHT other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required for 25 mm x 3 mm thick, aluminium using porcelain clit/post insulators with screw / self dril GI screw with rubber washer , complete all as specified and directed.
