ROOF AND WALL REPAIRS FOR SEEPAGE LEAKAGE TREATMENT OF VARIOUS BUILDINGS AT HEMRL

Complete removal of existing Roof treatment in any layers including demolition of Cement Concrete in roofs unreinforced and disposal of debris to distance exc 250 metre and not exc 500 metre out of MoD land complete all as specified. Note: i) The rates are inclusive of removal for any type old water proofing treatment over to Main RCC slab. Bidders is advised to visit the site and ensure before quoting rates. ii) All the dismantled debris are required to be removed from HEMRL premises right after demolition so that process of user should not get obstructed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 (Type B0 using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) (40mm thick avg) as in levelling course to match the undulations of roof and in coving, roof kerbs including benching etc including necessary formwork and finished rough surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded aggregate) as in benching,coping,kerbs and the likes including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including necessary use and waste of form work complete all as specified.

Material and labour for rendering of 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 mixed with liquid water proofing compound (ISI marked) of approved make as per manufacturer's instructions over RCC roof slab and finished fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.(Liquid water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately as 'Supply only'.)

Supply and fix 3mm thick APP pre-fabricated membrane with and including non woven polyester matt central core of 160 gsm (min) impregnated and coated on both sides with and including layer of APP modified bitumen and finished with and including micro-perforated heat fusible polythene film on both surfaces over and including 0.3 litres / Sqm bituminous primer confrming to IS-3384 and applying a coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 grade @1.2 Kg/Sqm over the membrane and finally applying two coats of aluminium paint @ 0.10 litres / Sqm each layer complete as per manufacturer's instructions and all as specified and directed . The weight of APP membrane shall not be less than 3.5 Kg / Sqm and laid over and including primed surface by using LPG/Butane torch and apply uniform pressure with roller. The overlap of membrane shall be 100 mm on sides and 150mm on end laps and complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) The work shall be executed only through authorised applicator of manufacturer as approval by GE. (ii) Contractor has to submit guarantee of treatment for 10 Years. Taking down cement plaster of any description on brick or stone walls incl raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc

Taking down / dismantling existing perished aluminium strip of size 25 x 3 mm and refixing serviceable aluminium strip of size 25 x 3 mm on existing PCC block at any height on roof top, on existing conventional type lightening protection network and making good the disturbed surface of walls / roof top match with existing surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in replacement of aluminium strip of size 25x3mm fixed on PCC block with epoxy based insulator of 35mm size at distance / interval not more than 1.0 m for down conductor air terminal network including drilling two Nos holes at each joint, one set of lead washers between strips, two sets GI nut and bolt, gutties, screws etc. Note : (i) Epoxy base insulator and PCC block will be measured and paid separately under relevant items respectively. (ii) Unit rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive cost of one lead joint and 2 Nos GI nuts, bolts washers, screws and necessary T&P and machining work required at site.

M & L for dismanltling and taking down from roof / poles air termiantion single pointed rod 12 mm dia 300 mm long with existing GI pipe and keeping in safe custody including making good the disturbed surfaces after resuse at specfied location after replacement of PCC block, insulator, strip and connect to aluminium strip including 2 No drilling holes, nuts, bolts washers complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply in repairs epoxy base insulator of suitable size, 35mm height fixed on PCC blocks/ wall or MS angle/ Pipe or on traverse etc. all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L in repairs for PCC block of size 150 x 150 x 150mm in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 with 20mm stone graded aggregate including necessary form / mould for fair and even surfaces, air termination rod / GI strip etc., complete all as directed.

M&L in repairs for PCC block of size 200 x 200 x 200mm in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 with 20mm stone graded aggregate including necessary form / mould for fair and even surfaces, air termination rod / GI strip etc., complete all as directed.

M&L for GI tubing light grade of size 40 mm bore for connecting to air termination rod / protection to GI strip complete including Brackets for fixing all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM 1 :4 on brick/concrete surfaces of wall parapet wall etc in two coats (10mm first coat and 5 mm second coat) finished even and smooth mixed with WPC @ 3% by weight of cement to be mixed with mortar all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separetely.

Supply only integral liquid WPC of approved make.

M&L for preparing new plastered wall surfaces and distressed surafces and applying two coats of exterior emulsion paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of brickwork built in cement mortar & disposing the debris in low lying area complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and any position in roofs reinforced & disposing the debris in low lyying area complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brickwork with subclass 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in CM (1:6).

M&L for plain cement concrete as in landings slabs, platforms and similar articles Type B1 1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregate) set in CM 1:6 complete all as specified

M&L for TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length bent to shape required including cranking bending spirally for hooping for columns hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing clips TMT bars complete all as specified

M&L for applying one coat epoxy bonding agent @ 2.6 sqm/lit or as per manufactures instruction to old concrete surfaces of columns, beams,chajjas and similar structural members complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing for hard down steel wire fabric not exceeding 4 kg/sqm cut to lengths, bent to shape required and tying with and including mild steel wire, (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia as in reinforcement complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for applying pressure guniting 20 to 40 mm thick to affected area of RCC structures including necessary scaffolding for any height from ground using spray set HBL of Fosroc or techno commercial equivalent of Pidilite or Sika @ 5 Ltrs per 100 Kg of cement and coarse sand in ratio of 1:3 as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Sprayset HBL of Forsoc or equivalent of Pidilite, Sika chemical shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Work shall be carried by authorized applicator of manufacturer as approved by GE.
