Conducting rebound hammer test as per BIS/ASTM standards etc. complete, as directed by Engineer -In-Charge.
Conducting half-cell potential meter test at all locations to assess the risk of corrosion including exposing the reinforcement for carrying out the test. The test shall be conducted as per BIS/ASTM specifications. The quoted rate shall include charges for filling back areas chipped for exposing the reinforcement with polymer modified mortar. 5 potential observations taken at one location will form a unit for measurement purposes, as directed by Engineer -In-Charge.
Extraction and testing of concrete drill dust samples from the structure. Three drill dust samples from depths 0-15mm, 15-30mm and 30-45mm shall be collected from each location. The samples shall be tested for chlorides, sulphates, PH and alkalinity, as directed by Engineer -In-Charge.

Determining the surface tensile strength and bond strength of concrete (Pull Off) as per ACI 503.1R/ASTM C1583 including preparing concrete surface, drilling the concrete, bonding concrete with disk with rapid set epoxy and conducting test on old surface and newly repaired suface as directed by Engineer -In-Charge.
Preparation and submission of two copies of draft report as specified followed by five copies of final report along with a soft copy of the same on diskette covering Non Destructive test observations, analysis, interpretation and conclusions of NDT observations, drawing out measures for durability make up, estimation of repair quantities, rate, rate analysis for major repair items, as directed by Engineer -In-Charge. Note: 1. The rates quoted for item No. 1 to 10 shall include preparation of test area, making good the areas with polymer modified mortar, disposing off debris and necessary scaffolding arrangements for testing
Conduct distress mapping Analysis for each floor in Mod labs building including mezzanine floors, various rooms, various laboratory , staircase, porch, Mod labs outside etc. all the areas of Mod Labs, Super Computing Facility Building, Post Office Building and Bank Building. Distress symptoms will be marked on floor plan as per notation used or as directed by Project Engineer and prepare data sheets mentioning exact location of each crack, height, and width of crack and Preparation and submission of two copies of draft report as specified followed by five copies of final report along with a soft copy of the same on diskette covering distress mapping Analysis observations and conclusions along with photos etc., Complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Condition Survey of the area under consideration shall be carried out, which includes a) Visual Inspection: Grouping of structural members should be done during visual inspection based on environmental exposure conditions e.g. external and internal members. Also, identification of Corrosion prone locations as per Visual Inspection. Follow the notations and typical worksheet for recording distress during visual inspection and damage classes based on visual inspection as per CPWD handbook on repair. The condition survey report shall comprise the output of visual inspection and NDT results. Major sections to be covered in the report shall be: (i) Identification of the cause of the distress. (ii) Systematic documentation of all observations during visual inspection, including distress maps. (iii) Systematic documentation of all test results obtained from NDTs. (iv) Determination of concrete properties based on NDTs (v) Requirement of propping of structural members to relieve part/full load acting on the member. (vi) Requirement of immediate evacuation and safety measures to prevent any immediate major mishap. (vii) Recommendations on repair/retrofit strategy with due consideration to available space and accessibility for ongoing activities. (viii) Requirements on safety measures to be adopted during execution of repair/retrofit jobs. (ix) Limitations/assumptions used. (x) Any other recommendation.
Residual Life Assessment (RLA) of RCC Structure – Carrying out residual life assessment through detailed condition survey, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) such as Rebound Hammer, Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity, Half-Cell Potential, Core Extraction, Carbonation Testing, and chemical analysis of concrete (chlorides, sulphates, pH, alkalinity), assessment of corrosion activity using Linear Polarisation, Profometer scanning for reinforcement mapping, and preparation of detailed report with recommendations for repair and residual life expectancy, as per standard guidelines and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
