Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1 for Rural Roads of MORD (Borrowpit / pre work post work measurement) . Extra for carriage of all kinds of earth by Mechanical Transport:

Construction of Sub Base using Local Materials, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface, including screening the metal as necessary, mixing by mix in place method with Rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, lighting, guarding and barricading including cost and carriage of all materials and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre wide on each side to protect the edges complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).[p-244,it-4.09 (II) P.W.D. ROADS 2015 Vol III]. For Construction of Sub Base by compacting stone chips and sand (in proportion of 40:60). Add cost at site of 0.51 m3 of 5.6 stone chips and 0.77 m3 of medium sand (loose volume) to arrive at the consolidated rate.

Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed at expansion and construction joint only, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over prepared sub base, with cement content as per IRC: 15-2011, coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a batch mix plant / RMC and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design (as per IRC:44 2008), laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing, spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, polysulphide sealant, dowel bars, near approaches to bridge/ culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days, using curing compound (where specified) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1501 for Rural Roads of MORD. Drum sheet walling 1.40 m (av.) high on Sal-bullah/ eucalyptis bullah piling 10 cm dia and 3.25 m long driven 1.75m (av.) below G.L. and 75 cm centre to centre including fitting fixing 3 nos. of half bullah pieces (from 10 cm dia) and drum (empty bitumen) sheet (approved condition) of height 1.5 m, cutting and straightening drum sheet(each joint must have nails, bolts, nuts etc. and providing 2 to 3 m long half bullah ties of 10 cm dia @ 2.25 m centre to centre fixed with 10 cm dia. bullah posts driven 1.5 m below coal tarring to all materails and one coat of col tarring to all bullah etc. complete as per direction. (i) Using Ecualyptus bullah.

Providing and erecting direction and place indentification retro-reflectorised sign board as per IRC:67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick with area exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75mm x 75 mm x 6 mm, 2 Nons. firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M 15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specification for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).item 8.05 page 270
