REPAIRS/RESURFACING OF ROADS INCLUDING ROAD FURNITURE AT AOR OF GE (AF) SRINAGAR

Surface excavation on soft/loose soil n exc 30 cm deep and avergage 15 cm deep and getting out soil.

M&L for soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarred stone, spread thickness in mm (150mm) inter stices filled, surfaces formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber.

M&L for scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in are exc 400 sqm n exc thickness exc 50mm deep complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick (Compacted thickness) by laying WBM, with coarse aggregate of granite, trap or basalt stone of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or of grading 3(50 to 20 mm size) spread, roled and consolidated to gradient and camber reguired with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caded mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous rimer @ 10 Kgs/10 Sqm, using paving birumen complete all as specifed and directed.

Preparing existing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing cake mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with VG-10 @ 5Kg/ Xsqm, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5% binder content using paving bitumen VG-30 by weight by total mix to be laid with self propelling mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with initial rolling using 8 to 12 tonne power roller followed by an intermediate smooth wheel pneumatic roller of 15 to 30 tonne having type pressure of 7 kg/sqm and the surface finished by final rolling with 8 to 10 tonne tandem roller, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam with 4% of binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 laid with self propelling mechanical paver, rolled & compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne power roller (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) to make good the cut edges of roads etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting around edges to at least 30mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat using VG 10 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm and putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cu.m. of sand mixed with 6.8 kg of bitumen, applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface

Dismantling of laid dry bricks in edges of road all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L modular fly ash bricks for continous brick edgings with width equal to the depth of the brick laid dry on edge.

M&L for 2.5mm thick road marking thermo plastic reflective paint to be carried out mechanically with hot application of material (painting material @ 5 Kg/Sqm) and glass beads @ 250 gm/Sqm, confirming to clause No. 303.4 of MORTH in strips of 100/150mm width on road surface, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Make: Reliance, Asian/ Shalimar).

M&L for dual directional reflective cat eys aluminium casted stud 100x100mm having 3 round plastic ABS discs containing 21x2=42 mini reto-reflective glass beads of coulour whte/red/yellow a side provided with steel zinc plated nail of dia 12mm of length 120 mm for fixing to road by hammering CAT PART No. GPL - 01 - 01 Make :- GREEN/ GREEN LITE or Equivalent.

M&L for dual directional speed breaker having high intensity cube corner reflector ultrasonic welded to high impact resistance plasitic body of coulour yellow and black xize 250x345x50 mm (height) provided with 4 steel nails. Shape of side body to have interlocking pattern to keep all speed breakers in a row. CAT PART No. GPL - 07 - 06 Make :- GREEN/ GREEN LITE/ Equivalent.

M&L for solar road stud having 3 LEDs of colour red/yellow to a side (total 6 Nos) housed in a tough pressure die casted aluminium alloy of any size (120x130 mm) and (125 x 125 mm) of height 20mm with built in stem-nail 30 mm x 50 mm long for fixing with epoxy. LEDs solar-cells, battery & light sensor will protected in side under tough unbreakable polycarbonate transparent sheet roof, System workable for 2-3 days (nights) after full charge in 8-10 hours.
