M&L Attending day to day external water supply complaints of all nature i.e. leakage in water supply pipe lines, fittings/fixtures, over flow of overhead tank, less/no water supply including noting the complaints in complaint register complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) GI fittings/ fixtures materials as required for attending the complaints is also deemed to be included in the job quoted rates. (ii) All tools and plants and minimum consumables casting less than 100 per complaint included in the rates quoted.

Notes for Srl No. 1 :- The rates quoted by the contractor shall also deemed to be included for the following :- (i) The complaints shall be attended & defect shall be rectified within 08 hrs commencing from date and time of notifying the complaint failing which a penalty @ Rs 500/- per complaint per day (08 hrs) shall be levied upon/imposed on the contractor and recovery shall be made from Contractor's dues. (ii) In case , after checking & attending the defect,if it is not possible to rectify the defect within 08 hrs, the facts shall be brought to the notice of Engineer-in-charge by the contractor/his rep. If Engineer-in- charge is satisfied with contractor's information, no recovery will be made.

(iv) While attending the complaint if earth work is required then the same shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate item of Sch 'A'/BOQ. However no extra payments shall be made for dewatering. (v) All T&P required for attending the complaints shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost. (vi) The pipe fitter shall always be in possession of die set complete with cutters,Taps, Pipe wrench ,Chain wrench, Caulking tools, complete set of spanners and ladders etc..,as required at site.

Supply and fix PTMT float valve of following sizes, with epoxy coated aluminium rod and high density plastic ball complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc 50 m and depositing where directed not exc 1.5 meters above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Surface dressing of uneven surfaces of natural ground, rough excavated surfaces not exceeding 15 cm deep and filled area where ordered shall be trimmed to an even surface horizontal or slopping, by removing vegetation and by scrapping high patches and filling low patches with the scrapping soil to give an even and neat look to the site complete all as specified and as directed.
