Providing complete maintenance of landscaped/garden area of approximately 8200 Sqm or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge within Airport premises, comprising lawns, trees, shrubs, herbs, flower beds, potted plants, foliage plants, creepers and all other horticultural features, including all horticultural operations such as preparation and maintenance of basins, weeding, hoeing, pruning, trimming, training of plants, replacement of dead/damaged plants, gap filling, watering, mowing of lawns, grass cutting by lawn mower and brush cutter, collection, loading, transportation and disposal of garden waste at designated locations within Airport premises using hand trolleys or other suitable means, application of fertilizers, insecticides and pesticides whenever required, top dressing of lawns with good earth and manure, and carrying out all other horticultural and garden maintenance works necessary for proper upkeep, healthy growth and aesthetic appearance of the landscape, complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The cost of Good Earth, Manure, Fertilizers, Insecticides, Pesticides and replacement plants shall be provided by the Department free of cost. The contractor shall arrange all labour, supervision, fuel, lubricants, tools, tackles, machinery, equipment and other consumables required for satisfactory execution of the work. The contractor shall permanently deploy Minimum 02 (Two) Nos. Malis exclusively for execution of this work throughout the contract period and shall quote rates accordingly. In case of deployment of less than the stipulated number of Malis, recovery at the rate of Rs. 800/- (Rupees Eight Hundred only) per day per Mali shall be made from the contractors bills for the period of short deployment. ............ Providing complete maintenance of hedges/edges of approximately 6000 metres length within Airport premises, including trimming and cutting of hedges/edges to the required shape, size and profile, collection, loading, transportation and disposal of cut material and other horticultural waste at designated locations within Airport premises, cleaning of hedge beds, weeding, hoeing, soil loosening, preparation and maintenance of basins wherever required, watering, manuring, application of insecticides, pesticides and fungicides, replacement of dead/damaged hedge plants, gap filling and carrying out all other horticultural operations necessary for proper upkeep, healthy growth and aesthetic appearance of hedges/edges, complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The cost of manure, fertilizers, insecticides, pesticides, fungicides and replacement plants shall be supplied by the Department free of cost. The contractor shall arrange all labour, supervision, tools and plants, machinery, equipment, power, fuel, consumables and other incidental items required for satisfactory execution of the work. The contractor shall permanently deploy Minimum 02 (Two) Nos. Malis exclusively for execution of this work throughout the contract period and shall quote rates accordingly. In case of deployment of less than the stipulated number of Malis, recovery at the rate of Rs. 800/- (Rupees Eight Hundred only) per day per Mali shall be made from the contractors bills for the period of short deployment. ............ Providing complete maintenance of potted plants displayed at various locations and floors within the Airport Terminal Building and allied buildings, including watering, application of good earth, manure, fertilizers, insecticides and pesticides, regular cleaning of pots and plants, removal of dry leaves and unwanted growth, pruning and trimming of plants, shifting of potted plants to sunlight and back to designated locations as required for healthy growth, rearrangement and display of pots at suitable locations as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, replacement of dead, diseased or damaged plants, replacement of broken pots, painting/colouring of pots whenever required, changing locations of pots as directed, and carrying out all other horticultural operations necessary for maintaining the potted plants in healthy, clean and aesthetically pleasing condition, complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The cost of plants, pots, good earth, manure, fertilizers, insecticides and pesticides shall be supplied by the Department free of cost. The contractor shall arrange all labour, supervision, tools, tackles, equipment, transportation and other incidental items required for satisfactory execution of the work. The contractor shall deploy Minimum one (01) Mali for every 750 potted plants or part thereof under maintenance throughout the contract period. Any fraction of 750 pots shall be considered as a full unit for the purpose of manpower deployment. The quoted rate shall be deemed to include the cost of deployment of the required manpower, supervision, tools and equipment necessary for execution of the work. Providing services for pruning, trimming, crown reduction, canopy shaping and removal of dead, diseased, damaged, obstructing or overgrown branches of fully grown trees at various locations within Airport premises, including climbing arrangements, cutting of branches, collection, loading, transportation and disposal of cut branches, leaves and other generated horticultural waste at designated locations within Airport premises, complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor shall arrange all labour, supervision, safety equipment, ropes, ladders, tools and plants, machinery and all other accessories required for safe and satisfactory execution of the work. Note- Pruning, trimming and shaping of trees located within lawn and landscaped areas, which are covered under the respective garden maintenance items, shall not be measured or paid separately under this item. Special Conditions- The contractor shall permanently deploy and maintain in good working condition at site throughout the contract period- Minimum 02 (Two) Nos. Electric/Diesel/Petrol Chain Saws, and All necessary tools, safety gear and equipment required for tree pruning operations. In case of failure to provide the required chain saws in working condition, recovery at the rate of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) per day per chain saw shall be made from the contractors bills for the period of default. All pruning operations shall be carried out in accordance with sound arboricultural practices and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, ensuring safety of airport infrastructure, vehicles, personnel and passengers. Nothing extra shall be paid on account of labour, transportation, machinery, fuel, safety arrangements, tools and plants or disposal of cut materials within Airport premises.

Supplying, transporting, unloading and stacking well-decomposed cow dung manure at the specified site, including all royalties, taxes, duties, carriage, loading, unloading, handling, and all leads and lifts complete, as per the directions and satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Note- The quantity of cow dung manure measured in stacks at site shall be reduced by 8% towards shrinkage and settlement for the purpose of payment.

Supplying and delivering Urea Fertilizer conforming to relevant IS specifications, in manufacturers original sealed packing of 45 kg per bag, at the specified site, including loading, unloading, transportation, handling, stacking and all incidental charges complete, as per the directions and satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and delivering Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) Fertilizer conforming to relevant IS specifications, in manufacturers original sealed packing of 50 kg per bag, at the specified site, including loading, unloading, transportation, handling, stacking and all incidental charges complete, as per the directions and satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and delivering good quality Vermicompost, in manufacturers original sealed packing of 40 kg per bag, at the specified site, including loading, unloading, transportation, handling, stacking and all incidental charges complete, as per the directions and satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and placing decorative roto-moulded square garden planter of make Gardens Need or equivalent of size 18 inch (approx. 45.72 cm) with matching bottom tray, made of virgin LLDPE (Linear Low-Density Polyethylene) material, UV stabilized and weather resistant, suitable for indoor and outdoor horticultural applications. The planter shall be of robust roto-moulded construction, non-toxic, crack resistant, fade resistant and capable of withstanding varying climatic conditions. The surface finish shall be of premium decorative marble / stone effect in approved shades such as white marble, grey marble, sandstone, and similar finishes as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. Reference image is attached in technical specifications. The planter shall be square in shape with proper base support and drainage arrangement for healthy plant growth. The item shall include all cost towards material, manufacturing, transportation, loading, unloading, handling, stacking and placing at site in position complete as per approved sample and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
