Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for pole foundation, cable trench, etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3.0m in depth for pole foundation, cable trench, etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand filling with clean dry fine sand unwashed including gently punning around cables in trenches for cable protection (8 cm below cable & 15 cm above cable) complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Compacted/punned thickness shall be measured & paid.

Supplying and laying sub class 'B' bricks (modular) for cable protection cover laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable perpendicular to the direction of cable complete all as specified and directed

M&L for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate in foundations, filling and mass concrete including filling at road cuttings or making pillars for supporting pipe including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in copings to poles & the like, etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed. including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 50mm GI tubing light grade with all fittings as required for passing through cables under floors, along the wall or along the pole, etc with suitable size M.S.flat iron clamps incl nut,bolt and washer including taking down old rusted pipe complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 80mm GI tubing light grade with all fittings as required for passing through cables under floors, along the wall or along the pole, etc with suitable size M.S.flat iron clamps incl nut,bolt and washer including taking down old rusted pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement galvanised steel wire 4mm dia for contineous earth wire and for guarding and cradles including binding as required with binding wire complete including dismentling and taking down old GI wire, all as specified and directed ( Eye hooks to be measured and paid for seperately ).

M&L in replacement for providing ACSR overhead lines on existing LT PCC poles/steel tubular poles with aluminium conductor steel reinforced including straining properly on insulators and binding with aluminium binding wire complete after dismentling and taking down old ACSR conductor of any size and make, all as specified. Note : Measurements for the purpose of payments shall be made by measuring horinzontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and adding 3% extra for sag, joints, jumpers etc.

Dismantling cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates from existing poles (other than dismantled poles) and pole structures complete.

S&F Cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plate, fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as directed including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical Plate No 3 of MES SSR-2009 Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth wire protected by 15mm dia light grade GI pipe and watering pipe shall be 20mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil/hard rock, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc complete all as directed. NOTE :- (i) The concrete pit shall be PCC (1:3:6) type C-1, 40 mm thick pre cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I. (ii) The unit rate includes the cost of GI pipe medium grade for protection of earth wire and 4mm dia earh lead wire upto 7.5 M. (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself.

Dismantling old damaged LT, PCC or steel tubular pole and including PCC carefully from existing over head line and taking out complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and erection Steel tubular pole, swaged, complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, washer and screws including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer on all exposed surfaces and tarring with black bituminous paints to portion embedded in PCC, numbering of poles in 100mm diameter yellow circle with black paint including 15 cm wide alternate black & yellow bands upto 1.5m height from ground level, type 410-SP-31 (9 meter long) complete all as specified and directed. Note - Excavation, earth work and PCC shall be measured and paid separately.

Suppy and erection in verticle position Prestressed concrete pole, 9.0 metres long, 102mm x 172mm at top and 102mm x 279mm at bottom, class 10 finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws all as specified including painted with two coats marking 30cms wide strips with white and black paint at alternatively upto 1.50 metre height and applying two coats of cement paint on remaining exposed surfaces after erection complete all as specified. Note - Excavation, earth work and PCC shall be measured and paid separately.

S&F Mild steel galvanised stay assembly set complete comprising of 14mm diameter 400mm long stay bow, 2150mm long stay rod 16mm diameter 230mm x 230mm x 6mm stay plate, thimble, GI stay wire of 7/8 SWG upto required length all as shown in electrical plate No.1 of MES Schedule Part-I 2009 including dismantling stay assembly complete including demolition of cement concrete complete all as specified and directed. M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of LT PCC poles & painting strips in alternate from bottom to top with three strips of black synthetic paint & two strips of white fluorescent paint (up to 1.5 mtr height) throughout the circumference of pole ( width of each strip shall be of 30 cm), including marking pole numbers in a 20 cm dia yellow circle with number writing with black synthetic enamel paint including one coat of lime wash on PCC copping of pole complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of steel pole (swan neck type or straight type) up to 9 mtr height with cross arms, clamp of any length and shape for LT overhead line/street light with two coats of aluminium paint after scratching out old paint, cleaning the existing surface rust free, preparation of the surface including marking pole numbers in a 20 cm dia yellow circle with number writing with black synthetic paint & painting strips in alternate from bottom to top with three strips of black synthetic paint & two strips of white fluorescent paint (up to 1.5 mtr height) throughout the circumference of pole ( width of each strip shall be of 30 cm), including one coat of lime wash on PCC copping of pole complete all as specified and directed.
