REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS VCBs AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEMS OF EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY AT OLD AMRITSAR CANTT

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 meters wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter depth for laying of HT cables, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in trenches including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers each not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meters above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for sand filling in trenches for cable protection including necessary punning and consolidation as required complete, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE:- Punned thickness only will be considering for payment.

Supply, laying and replacement of PCC covers, class HV type-1 flat size 300x180x40mm, ISI marked, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay DWC pipe 100 mm bore for laying of HT/LT cables etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Opening up the top cover of the transformer by taking out the transformer oil in a separate container after disconnecting / taking out the HT/LT side electric connections from both the primary & secondary side of the transformer of any type / description (indoor / outdoor type ) installed on floor/pole for carrying out necessary repair / rewinding to HT/LT side or any other repair as required after shifting the transformer to contractor's work shop including taking out complete core assembly, Megger the winding for identifying the fault/defective winding, segregating the defective winding portion/taking out, cleaning the laminated core rewinding with appropriate gauge winding wire of existing description for transformer of capacity 100 to 250 KVA including assembling & testing on completion & installation the same at the site, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Winding of coil and spares required as per repair shall be measured and paid separately under respective item. (ii) The transportation charges and taking down/taking up of transformer are inclusive in the quoted rates. (iii) The cost for the dehydration of transformer oil if required shall be measured & paid separately. (iv) The cost of insulation material such as paper, cotton tape , latheroid sheet ,cast sheet etc are inclusive in the quoted rate.

Opening up the top cover of the transformer by taking out the transformer oil in a separate container after disconnecting/taking out the HT/LT side electric connections from both the primary & secondary side of the transformer of any type/ description ( indoor/outdoor type ) installed on four pole for carrying out necessary repair/replacement of HT/LT side bushes or any other repair as required for transformer of capacity 50 to 630 KVA including assembling & testing on completion, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dehydration and filtering the transformer oil with dehydration machine to achieve dielectric strength of the oil to 50 KV at 2.5 mm gap, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Dehydration machine and other necessary equipments required shall be arranged by the contractor and quoted rates shall be inclusive of this aspect. Record of test results after dehydration shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge
