Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1, grade confirming to IS:8887 at 3.00 Kga/10 Sqm) using emulsion pressure distributor on the the prepared bitumenous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom and as per clause 503 complete all as by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for repair to pot holes any depth not exc. 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at 5 kg per 10 sq m. putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again will rammed (including supply or premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30mm complete all as by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (Paving bitumen of VG-30) by weight of total mix , mixed in hot mix plant , rolled with tendem vibratory roller and and compacted to required camber and gradient by using mechanical paver complete all as directed.

M&L preparation of new or previously treated surfaces to receive thermostatic paint laying of road marking with hot applied Thermoplastic compound with Reflectorizing glass beads on Bituminous surface, 2.5 mm thick including reflectozing glass beads @ 250 gms per Sqm area is exclusive of surface appplied glass beads as per IRC -1997, The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from steaks and holes complete all as directed. Supply and fixing in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as directed.
