Disconnecting and taking down old unserviceable 70/80/125/150 watt street light fittings of any make/type and capacity with brackets fixed on HT/LT poles, repairing after cleaning and replacing the un-serviceable parts like Ballast / choke, starters, ignitors, capacitors, holders, lamp etc and refixing / reconnecting after replacing wires / jumpers as required for proper functioning of street light fittings complete all as specified and as directed . Note : - (i) Parts replaced like ballasts / chokes, starters, ignitors, capacitors, holders, lamps, etc shall be measured and paid for as "Supply only" here-in-after. (ii) Cost of replacement of wornout wire of the fittings and connections as per existing size of conductor of the each fittings shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted of this item.

S&F in repair galvanized iron strip 32x6 mm buried in ground 150 mm below ground including all necessary excavation and earth work, connecting at ends, jointing etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth strip 32mm x6mm thick by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR (2009) Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth strip protected by galvanized iron 40 mm dia light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc complete all as directed. Note :- (i) The concrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40 mm thick pre-cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate no 3 of MES SSR (2009) Part-I. (ii) Item includes the cost of GI pipe up to 7.50m for protection of earth wire/strip. (iii) Item includes the cost of earth lead wire/strip up to7.50m (iv) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the existing pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.

Repairs to High Mast light fittings of 60 to 100 watt,230/240 volts of any make, including taking down existing fittings from pole (15 Mtr height) and refixing the same in same position by means of crane / manually after replacement of unserviceable/defective parts of the fittings as required to make the fittings in smooth serviceable condition and testing complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- (i) The cost of replacement of wornout wire of the fittings and connections with new one as per existing size of conductor of the each fitting shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted.
