Manning and Operation including routine maintenance of 05 (five) Nos. water supply installations i.e. tube well No. 5, 12, 37, CBS Gharota & AD Sump viz. vertical turbine / submersible & centrifugal pumping sets of any capacity / discharge, installed at Tube Wells / Pump House alongwith chloronome plant, bleaching dozers & stand by generating sets etc. of any capacity / type / pattern including LT control panel with complete switch gears and starter & allied / connected fittings/fixtures with including minor repairing like replacement of gland packing, flange gaskets, M-Seal, nuts and bolts and electric re-wire able fuse wire within the installations, operation of sluice valve of pumping mains and distributions main for smooth supply of water to user including daily / periodical maintenance like oiling, greasing of DG sets and cleaning / descaling of bleaching dozers / alotoch tank, neat and clean area within pumping installation or up to 20 Mtr surrounding the pump house building etc. by deployment of one qualified or experienced operator / tradesman (skilled) per shift per installation (total five installations i.e. Tube well Nos 5, 12, 37, CBS Gharota & AD Sump, operation consists of three shift in a day (i.e. 08 hours each in three shifts, 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs, 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs and 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs) round the clock i.e. 24 hrs in three shifts including sunday and holidays for smooth functioning of installation, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Notes :- (a) DG Set to be run during breakdown of electricity and for static run as and when required/directed. (b) DHPP and Chlorine gas / calcium hypochlorite granular etc will be provided to contractor by the department under Schedule 'B'. (c) Material such as cotton waste, protective clothing and water testing instruments, gas mask, gloves and other instruments etc. are required for maintenance, manning and operation of plant shall be arranged by the contractor from his own sources for which cost of the same shall deem to be included in this rate. (d) The contractor shall be responsible to keep the water supply installation neat and clean on every day and cutting of grass inside fencing or up to 20 Mtr surrounding the pump house building. (e) Operator must have ITI certificate or minimum 4 years experience in the field. (f) All the documentation such as log sheets, attendance register and Chlorine test register daily shall maintain as per procedure in vogue. (g) Penalty of Rs. 1,000/- per shift per installation will be charged if operator is found absent from duty. (h) In case of any major faults which is beyond the control will immediately intimate to the JE / Engineer-in-Charge. (j) The contractor shall pay/credit minimum wages/salary to employees/labour deployed by him in their Aadhaar linked bank account through online / e-payment in every month. Proof of the payment shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge.

Manning and Operation including routine maintenance of Bhaskar 1800 KLD capacity Sewage treatment plant installations viz sewage pump sets, air blower pump sets and TWT motor pump, chloronome plant and stand by generating sets etc of any capacity / type / pattern including LT control panel with complete switch gears and starter & allied / connected fittings / fixtures with including minor repairing like replacement of gland packing, flange gaskets, M-Seal and electric re-wire able fuse wire within the installations, operation of sluice valve of STP pumping and discharge pipe line including daily / periodical maintenance like oiling, greasing of DG sets, pumping sets, air block etc. and cleaning of STP area with in pumping instalations and STP puming house bldg etc. by deployment of one qualified, experienced operator / tradesman (skilled) per shift per installation, operation consists of two shift in a day (i.e. 08 hours each in two shifts, 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs and 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs) including sunday and holidays for smooth functioning of installation, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- If contractor have repetively fail to maintaining STP treated water CPCB parameters due to negligence operation he shall be paid penalty which ever raising from punjab polution control board/ MES dept

(d) The contractor shall be responsible to keep the STP installation neat and clean along with STP all undigested, floating material like polythene, plastic ,wood pieces, rubber, oil etc of bar screen chamber , Oil & Grease Trap tank, Receiving / Equalisation sump, cleaning of drains and cutting / trimming, scraping of grass ,unwanted bush, scrub, surrounding area of STP's premises and maintain seasonal flower /decorative plants including cutting of grass inside fencing of STP. (e) The STP installation as mentioned here-in-before under serial item No. 2.00 will be operated as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge and specified and as directed catered for two shifts per day per installation with one operator per shift.
