M&L for providing and laying 3mm thick APP (Atactic Polyproplene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer, weight not less than 3.60 Kg/Sqm water proofing membrane black finished, reinforced with non-woven polyester matt make as approved including of a coat of bitumen primer confirming to IS-3384 or as described at para 11.44.5 of MES Schedule Part-I @ 0.40 ltr/sq.m by the same membrane manufacturer of density 0.87 to 0.89 Kg/Ltr at 25 degree C temperature and viscosity 70 - 160 cps Over the coat, 3mm th 5 layered APP membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints etc after the surface complete as per standard practice as per manufacturer's instructions including one coat of aluminium paint over APP membrane @ 0.50 ltres per sqm complete all as specified and directed. Note : The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under - (i) Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23 degree C as 650/450N/5cms (ii) Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 300 / 250 N/. Softening point of membrane not less than 150 degree C Cold flexibility upto 20 degree C when tested in accordance with ASTM (D05147) (iii) The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of manufacturer of membrane only complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old damaged tar felt of any description from roof tops including cleaning, washing and drying the surface before applying roof treatment, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying & applying for two component elastomeric acrylic polymers modified cementitious waterproofing coating on Brick level, Smart Care Damp Block 2K or approved equivalent (For Effloresce treatment), having 100% elongation as per ASTM D412, resisting 5 bars hydrostatic pressure as per DIN 1048, reduction to rapid chloride shall be 70 as per ASTMC1202, crack bridging up to 1.2mm as per ASTM 4548.5. The coating shall have food grade certificate from laboratories like CFTRI, will be apply on both Positive & Negative side and resist up to 5 Bars of Hydrostatic Pressure. The mixing ratio of the coating shall be 2 parts of powder & 1 part of liquid without any water addition in the mixing, etc. After coating sand will be sprinkled on the coating then apply plaster on the coating including all type of scaffolding etc as required complete as manufacturer specifications and as specified and directed. Note : (i) Note : Cost of Steel props adjustable (Suspended/Supported) Scaffolding (6m -7 m) Height , safety equipment for labours (Belt, hook, Helmet) shall deemed to be included in quoted rates . (ii) Taking down cement plaster and rendering plaster will be measured and paid separately.

M&L for 15mm thick cement plastering in cement mortar 1:4 and mixing the water proofing compound as per manufactures instructions on brick or concrete surface of wall finished, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately under item.
