Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m depth for laying/taking out cable and getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material/soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point all as specified and as directed.

Taking down carefully old unserviceable UG cable of any size from the trenches/wall/pole and keeping aside for reuse and remove the unserviceable cable from site including removal of brick/PCC cable cover complete all as specified and as directed. Note :Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid separately.

Laying only in repairs including jointing, testing and commissioning of, PVC insulated, armoured, heavy duty, LT UG electric cable with aluminum conductor 1100 volt grade of size 3.5 core 35/50 sqmm including provision of new lugs, glands etc laid in trenches or fixed on wall/pole or drawn through conduit all as specified and as directed.

Note: In single stretch having minimum length 1500 RM whatsoever Nos of fault shall be paid as each job

Testing of HT UG cable by checking the insulation resistance using 5000v x 10000v fault insulation locator tester, identify any number of cable fault in a single stretch (from source to load) having length more than 1500 RM and pin point the fault location complete all as specified & as directed. Note:In single stretch having length more than 1500 RM whatsoever Nos of fault shall be paid as each job

Testing of LT UG cable by checking the insulation resistance using 5000v x 10000v fault insulation locator tester, identify any number of cable fault in a single stretch (from source to load) and pin point the fault location complete all as specified & as directed for length upto 1500 m . Note: In single stretch any Nos of fault shall be paid as each job.

M&L for two coats of cement based paint of approved colour including preparation of surface pedestals of outdoor type LT panels all as specified and as directed.

M&L for painting of steel surfaces of panel board with one coat of smoke grey synthetic enamel paint over the existing surface using spray gun including making surface by cleaning/ removing dust, duet etc before painting all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 44 above but with two coats of smoke grey synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer on new steel surfaces of panel board all as specified and as directed.

M & L for writing letters or figures (Block / Roman ) in English to mark incoming / outgoing cables / power supply locations etc., on painted panel boards, in black colour with enamel paint of size all as specified & as directed.

M&L for isolating earthing lead conductor from test point and measuring resistance value of earth pits transformer,panels etc after testing , report shall be furnished to Engineer-in Charge in standard format approved by Engineer-in Charge.

Servicing of 11 KV Vaccum Circuit Breaker (VCB) by drawing out circuit breaker mechanism, cleaning thoroughly inside and outside lubricating the mechanism adjusting the required various mechanism settings, checking and lubricating the various interlocks, checking the breakers operations, checking the healthiness of pole by meggaring , lubricating racking mechanism, checking the operation of various limit switches checking the operation of the breaker and the racking mechanism, testing the unit on no load complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for attending emergency breakdown for 11 KV VCB any capacity as and when ordered by Engineer-in-Charge, including servicing, adjusting and fault finding and rectifying the fault by qualified Engineer and testing the unit complete and submitting the test report all as specified and as directed.

Notes for item Nos 48 and 49 (a) Servicing of breakers to be carried out by qualified Engineer. The servicing of breaker shall include the followings :- (i) Inspection and cleaning to be carried out by qualified Engineer. (ii) Operation of door interlock, interlocking plate and shutter operation inside of panel. (iii) Check the Mechanical ON-OFF function, electrical and mechanical operation and damage part of VCB. (iv) Regrasing and oiling of breaker mech, adjustment of various mechanism setting as required, checking contact tightness, contact erosion pins, mannually vaccum check of VCB. (v) Racking-Rack out operation in test and service position of VCB troolly.

(vi) Megger Test (IR Value -1 KV/2.5 KV) E-RYB, RY-YB-BR-R'R, Y'Y,B'B. (vii) CRM Test (Contact resistance ) of Vaccum interrupter R,Y,B in on condition outside of panel. (viii) Time test of contact pole by test kit (in mile second). (ix) Function of closing coil, trip coil, spring charging motor, auxilary contact , limit switches etc. (x) Checking and lubricating of various interlocks. (xi) Submission of test report in standard format of vaccum circuit breaker.

(b) Tools and testing instruments required for servicing of VCB shall be arranged by the contractor. (c) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be include the cost of grease, lubricating material, cleaning material service and list of spares required for preventive /breakdown maintenance. (d) After servicing, report shall be furnished to Engineer-in-Charge in standard format approved by Engineer-in-Charge. (e) List of spare parts required for preventive maintenance /emergency breakdowns shall be submitted to Engineer -in-Charge after Ist inspection.

S&F in repairs of space heaters with thermostate with setting 0-80c at HT 11 KV VCB Panel all as specified and as directed.

Servicing of dry cast Transformer 1600KVA , 11 KV/433V by disconnecting incoming & outgoing power supply, opening up, cleaning the transformer internally & externally inspecting all the metering equipments, tightening all electrical connections checking & recording insulation resistance on both LT & HT sides, checking & recording earth resistance complete through authorised service engineer of OEM all as specified & as directed. Location : DSS-1/ DSS-1A/ DSS4/ DSS-4A/ DSS-6/ DSS-8/ DSS-9

Servicing of oil cooled Transformer 500 KVA , 11 KV/433V by disconnecting incoming & outgoing power supply, opening up, cleaning the transformer internally & externally inspecting all the metering equipments, tightening all electrical connections checking & recording insulation resistance on both LT & HT sides, checking & recording earth resistance complete through authorised service engineer of OEM all as specified & as directed. Location : DSS-10 at corritop

Servicing of oil cooled Transformer 630 KVA , 11 KV/433V by disconnecting incoming & outgoing power supply, opening up, cleaning the transformer internally & externally inspecting all the metering equipments, tightening all electrical connections checking & recording insulation resistance on both LT & HT sides, checking & recording earth resistance complete through authorised service engineer of OEM all as specified & as directed. Location : DSS-11 ( Near Map quarters)

Taking out ACB of L&T make, of capacity 12KV, 800 Amp rating Air Break indoor load break switch from its sub cubicle and carrying out routine maintenance as per manufacturer maintenance manual, examine the moving isolating contacts for any discolouration, cluster contacts, remove the arc chutes, check the SMC moulding are intacts, examine the moving contacts main contacts silver tips, spring mechanism, clean all contacts with a suitable solvent and contacts regreased with HP multipurpose grease, all contacts setting checked, readjusted if required, and regreased with HP multipurpose grease, all tripping device like manual trip, undervoltage, shunt trip release, over current and earth fault tripping device to be tested, readjusted and confirm all tripping device is in healthy condition, check and record IR value of ACB, with 1.1. KV LT megger calibrating ground fault / short ckt, overload relays for tripping & timing complete and rendering test report all as specified and as directed. Location : DSS-1, DSS-1A, DSS4, DSS-4A, DSS (UC), DSS-6, DSS-8, DSS-9, DSS-10, DSS-11 (Map qtrs)

NOTES : (a) Rate is inclusive of fixing of spares if any required. Supply and fixing in repair of tulip contact (Female) of 11 KV VCB HT Panel VD4 suitable for 800 Amps article No 587869-805 of OEM as per existing size complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Fixing in repairs Incoming spout bushing without contacts for 11 KV VCB breakers complete all as specified and as directed.
