(d) Applying one coat of hot straight run bitumen grade 30/40 (Grade S-35) conforming to IS-73 @ 1.20 kg/Sqm. Make: "Moply FP" manufactured by STP Texsa Ltd or Hyper Plas (Polyester) manufactured by M/S IWL Ltd or "Shaliplas"ter) manufactured by M/S Capital Steels and Chemical Pvt Ltd or Makpolyplast manufactured by M/S M K Patro as approved by GE. Note :- The water proofing treatment shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or their authorised applicators. The contractor shall give 10 years guarantee for effectivenss of water proofing treatment, 2.5% of work done amount of this item shall be retained from contractors payment for a period of 10 years reckoned from date of physical completion of this work, or inlieu contractor may deposit bank FDR for the said amount for 10 years which shall be released by GE on expiry of satisfactory completion of 10 years period.

S&F steel windows/vents shall be of “ECO” series 4000 of M/S NCL alltek seccolor Ltd. Or equivalent made of cold rolled steel sheet formed galvanized prepainted/powder coated steel sections as per IS-513, 0.6mm thick galvanized as per IS-277 with zinc of 120 gm/sqm and primer coated with epoxy primer of 5-7 microns thick, finish painted with a polyster based paint 12-16 micron thick or powder coated and back coated with 5-7 microns thick alkyl backer. The sections are to be cut to length metre jointed with standard corner bracket made of PVC and mullions are to be fixed with standard mullions caps. Windows and vents shall be fixed in masonry before plastering by means of hold fasts made of 3mm CRCA 100mm long screwed to window outer frame having self expanding sleeves tail fixing shall be done all as per manufacturer’s instructions and as shown on drawings.

M&L for insulation for 25mm bore pipe or plumbing all round with 25mm thick bonded mineral wool preformed 'SNAPON' pipes sections of density 144 kg/cum conforming to IS 9842 with aluminium foil of thickness 26 SWG and applying suitable adhesive compound over and including chicken mesh wire netting 25 gauge, 20 mm mesh complete with and incl taking down of old insulation, preparation of pipe surface by scratching / removing rust, dust and old paints etc with wire brush, emery paper, grinder etc and making surfaces smooth for achieving better grip between surface and primer, applying one coat of red oxide primer, complete all as directed.
