Cutting uprooting and clearing jungles including shrubs, water weeds, bushes, trees, plants, upto 30 cm. girth including removing as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Excavation in gravel/ moorum/kankar/compact moorum very much weathered rock/sticky soil mixed with moorum or ghooting for WDS/WHS/Reservoir /SFMIS etc with hydraulic excavater or any other means including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirement of lines, grades and cross section and transporting to embankment/ disposal site within all lifts and leads upto 1000 m. including spreading, levelling, disposed spoils at disposed area. (mode of measurement: pre work and post work)

Excavation in soft weather rock/ soft laterite rocks for WDS/WHS/Reservoir /SFMIS etc with hydraulic excavater or any other means including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirement of lines, grades and cross section and transporting to embankment/ disposal site within all lifts and leads upto 1000 m. including spreading, levelling, disposed spoils at disposed area. (mode of measurement: pre work and post work)

Excavation in ordinary soil/ mixed soil i.e clay mixed with moorum, kankar,pebbles/silt dry or moist/slushy silt/sticky soil for WDS/WHS/Reservoir /SFMIS etc with hydraulic excavateror any other means including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirement of lines, grades and cross section and transporting to embankment/ disposal site within all lifts and leads upto 1000 m. including spreading, levelling, disposed spoils at disposed area. (mode of measurement: pre work and post work)

Construction of embankment by earth moving machinery with approved materials already deposited at site available from river bed cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures as per given profile for formation of bank and as per directon of the Engineer-incharge.(Payment will be made on the basis of Pre-work & Post-work level after necessary void deduction). Over item no. 2 & 4, Less for void reduction

(A) Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as irected and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. (payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity) (B) Do - by fine sand

Single Brick Flat Soling of picked jhama bricks including ramming and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with local sand.

c) Extra rate for each 250 m. or part thereof above the initial lead of 1 k.m.over item No.2 & 4.

(i) 20% of earthwork with lead of 1 Km upto 1.25 Km.

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor) (a) 25 mm to 30 mm thick wooden shuttering as per decision & direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes.

Providing and laying of RCC pipe NP3 600mm dia as per rate analysis

Turfing with chorkata or durba grass sods 5 cm. to 8 cm. thick in slope, crest berm etc. of embankments, canals and drainage channels etc. within a lead of 150 metre and all lifts including fine dressing, watering, ramming, guarding etc. complete. (sods will have to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. Payment to be made on the grown grass only).

Extra rate over Item No.-12 For each additional lead of 75 metre or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 150 metre upto 750 metre.From 150m to 225m

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete.(a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

Construction of display board made with 250mm thick 1st class brick work in cement mortar (4:1) of size 1500mmx1200mm,foundation consisting of 150mm thick sand filling below the jhama brick flat soling,13mm thick(4:1) both side cement plaster up to G.L,painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make & brand including painting block letters & digits(Size above 4 cm & up to 5cm) with black japan or any approved paint as per direction of E.I.C in accordance with supplied specific approved drawing including necessary earth work in excavation in all sorts of soil,filling in foundation with earth in all respect with all costs of labour and materials.
