CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN ROAD AND ROAD RESURFACING FROM GATE TO OFFICE UNDER GE NAMS

Surface excavation not exceeding 30cm in depth and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil Complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 200mm (spread thickness) soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried sand stone, 63mm to 90 mm size interstices filled, surface fromed, rolled with vibratory roller 8 to 12 tonne and conslidated to required gradient camber complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour 150mm (compacted thickness) water bound macadam in two layers each of 75 mm thick (each layer to be rolled and conslidated separately) with coarse, aggregate of granite/trap/basalt stone of grading 2 ranging from 63mm to 40mm, spread and consolidated to gradient and camber required, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Thickness measured shall be the compacted finished thickness.

Material and labour for making of road side berms Shingle filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and blinded with earth and rammed including watering complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour continuous brick edging with width equal to the depth of the brick, laid on end vertically complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags/air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm and laying bituminous premix Semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm thick (minimum consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 Tonne power road roller to required gradient and camber complete, all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Material for SDAC shall be mixed in hot mixing plant. (b) Mix design of bituminous SDAC will be got done from approved lab. (c) The premix carpet shall be laid with mechanical mixer as specified in clause 20A 27 of MES SSR Part-I and the spreading of premix carpet shall be done by machanical sensor paver.

Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam laid, rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller and compacted to required gradient and camber, (consolidated thickness upto 75mm or less) using paving bitumen any penetration @ 4% of weight of road metal, grading-2 (63mm to 40mm) in existing sunken portion of the road surface including sweeping from dust or mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in road etc cutting edges complete, all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for repair to pot holes not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust or mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in road, path etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and making good the surfaces by applying a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per ten square metres and putting in premixed carpet 2 cm thick well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of binder with 0.06 cum of sand) again well rammed to match/join the existing road surface,depth of patholes not exceeding 30 mm complete, all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for marking lines dashes, arrows, letters etc on road, pavement and the like of any width using thermoplastic compound white / yellow paint, conforming to BIS 3262, and according to the specification laid down in IRC & MORTH (5th revision), 2.5 mm thick, hot applied with thermoplastic road marking machine including material and spreading glass beads through spreader attached with the machine complete, all as specified and directed.
