Earth work in excavation for foundation of bridge structures (Abutments) in all depths as per drawing and MORTH specification clause 304 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock(where blasting is prohibited). All type of classifications of soil by manual / mechinical means comprising of ordinary rock, soft rock, / Hard rock as per drawing and technical specfication and as per direction of Engineer -In - Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and other incidential. Hauling and stacking of useful materials for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner triming filling of unevenness blindage and finishing of the bridge site to specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. Providing and laying cement concrete PCC M- 10 (Ten) grade 1:3:6 ( One cement : three sand : Six agreegate using graded/ crushed 40 mm nomimal size stone aggregate minimum cement contents not less than 230 ( Two hundred thirty) Killogramme Per Cubic metre as specified in design mix mechanically mixed placed in open foundation and compacted by vibration including the cost of form work and curing complete including pumping or bailing out water dewatering, removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying under water complete including entire carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge and MORTH specification 2100. Providing and laying Plain / reinforced cement concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated reinforced cement concrete M-25 (Twenty five)grade using graded/ crushed stone aggregate minimum cement contents not less than 403.33 ( Four hundred three point three three) Killogramme per Cubic metre as specfied in the design mix in substructure complete as per drawing and MORTH technical specifications clause 1500,1700 & 2200 including the cost of form work, curing complete in dirt wall and bed block of abutment and including entire carriage of material in all leads, lifts and heights as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement made of TATA SAIL, TISCO. in foundation & substructure of bridge complete as per drawings and technical specifications clause 1600 & 2200 including the cost of bending, binding, cutting and placing in postion of bars complete and including the cost of winding wire including entire carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST, Labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying of filter media with granular material/ stones crushed agreegate satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2 of MORTH specifications to a thickness of not less than 600mm(six hundred millimeter) with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and providing over the entire surface behind abutment wing wall return walls, to the full height compacted to firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification . including carriage of material in all leads, lifts and height as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and laying 50 (Fifty) millimetres thick mastic asphalt wearing course in two layers each layer 25( twenti five)millimetres thick as per drawings of bridge with paving grade bitumen meeting the requirement given in table 500-29, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine grained hard stone chipping of 13.2(Thirteen point two)millimetres nominal size at the rate of 0.005(Zero point zero zero five) cubic metre per 10(ten) square metre and at an approximate spacing of 10(ten) centi metre centre to centre in both direction, pressed into surface when the temprature of surface is not less then 100 degree Celsius ,protruding 1 (One)millimetres to 4(Four) millimetres over mastic surface, all complete as per clasuse 515. including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and laying of a strip seal expansion joint catering to maximum horizontal movement upto 70 (Seventy) millimetres , complete accessories as per approved drawings and standard specifications to be installed by the manufacturer / supplier or their authorised representative ensuring compliance to the manufacturer's instructions for installation and MORTH Specfication 2607 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
