Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc 0.50 cum in soft / loose soil, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers n.exc 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 m and making good surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth, or n exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundations of poles, struts, stays etc. or laying underground cable and water supply / sewage pipe line etc. in soft / loose soil & getting out including taking out old brick or precast cable cover complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removal of excavated soil/ material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep in soft/ loose soil and getting out complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 150mm thick (spread thickness) soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed & rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Rolling and consolidating formation surface in cutting with 8 to 12 tonne power roller including filling in depressions which occurs during the process of rolling, rolling to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for hardcore of broken stone / boulders gauge not exc. 63mm, deposited, spread and leveled in layers not exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling & mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge .

M & L for PCC (1:3:6) typeC-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation for stays & mass concrete including necessary form work and fair finishing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in surface channels and drains and benching including finishing the top of benching even and smooth using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Forming fair finished channel for drain using extra cement shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete M-25 design mix, using 20mm graded stone aggregate for slab supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and other similar works complete all as specified and directed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) nominal mix as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc ; basement slabs, under- reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in -charge.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete M-25 design mix using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc ; basement slabs, under- reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in -charge.

M&L for use and waste of form work to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam haunching, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including supports, overhangs, etc. also splays between floors and beams, etc. for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Square, Circular rectangular on plan or polygonal use and waste of form work to sides pillars, posts, struts, pier, columns and stanchions for rough finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel work as in hold fast, wind tie for roof covering including securing bolts necessary drilling bolts or reiveting conforrming to Fe-290 (Gde E-165) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

S&F mild steel round bars 10mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape as in tie bar fixed to chain link fencing including necessary welding where required as per site requirement & other similar works conforming to Fe-290 (Gde E-165) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F MS screw bolt 05 to 10mm dia, length of bolt not exceeding 50mm long machine made with hexagonal or square head at one end and screwed the other or serewed both ends, each screwed end fitted with washer and one hexagonal or square nut complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only mild steel galvanized chain link fencing of any mesh, size and type complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) Flat iron, round bars, nut bolts and washer shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii)The payment shall be made to the contractor for actual weight ascertain by the BOO as odered by GE.

Fixing only mild steel galvanized chain link fencing any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Supply only chain link fencing shall be measured and paid for separately under replace items of BOQ.

S&F galvanized 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Each line of horizontal / vertical / diagonal wire to be measured for the purpose of payment.

S&F mild steel TMT bars 6 to 8 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally or hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally or hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per serial item No 32 here-in-before but 5mm dia and over up to and including 10mm dia as in stirrups, spacers & binder etc.

S&F Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, without any attachment etc conforming to Fe-290 (Gde E- 165, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F mild steel framed work as in doors / gates / steel frames etc. of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc, complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering including necessary welding etc and fixing in position of quality Fe 290 (Gde E-165) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Cost of welding of butt hinges to the door frame deemed to included in quoted rate and butt hinges shall be measured & paid for “Supply only” separately under relevant item of this BOQ

S&F Hand rails, half round or other stock section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts, posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for steel work as in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS-1161-1979 grade St.-240 including painted with one shop coat of zinc chromate primer paint including preparation of surface at contractor workshop before fabrication complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering /cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. M&L stone sett flooring with stone setts of size 200 to 250mm long, 150 to 200mm wide, 150mm deep and sides dressed, bedded in cement mortar 1:3, cement mortar 1:2 with an admixture of metallic floor hardener, 5% by weight of cement and struck flush complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 100 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in sub base, finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 100mm thick plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in floors finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 100mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in floor, top surface finished fair & even including spike rolling to surfaces or making impressions of expanded metal, whilst the concrete is green complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- PCC shall be laid in alternate bays in panels of size not exc 2m x 1m and joints shall be filled with bitumen mastic (1:3). Quoted rate shall deemed inclusive for same.

S&F factory casted 80mm thick precast concrete interlocking paving blocks M-40 having compressive strength not less than 400 Kg / Sqcm using grey cement and with pigment and of shape hexagon/ triangular / zigzag / I-shaped / Three-X etc as directed conforming to IS 15658-2006, laid dry over and including 25mm thick layer of local tibba sand cushining over complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) on fair faced or on other than fair face surface of brick masonary or concrete surface of walls, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 5mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:3) on brick or concrete surface of ceiling, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of wall and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
