Compacting original ground supporting embankment(Loosening, Levelling and Compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150 mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Tables 300.1and 300.2 for embankment construction as per Technical Specification Clause 301.4.1.)

Construction of embankment with approved materials obtained from borrow pites ( Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m. transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slopes and compacting to meet requirement table 300.1 & 300.2 with lead up to 1000m as per technical specification clause 301.5.)

Construction of Sub-grade and Earthen Shoulder (Construction of sub-grade and earthen shoulder with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m. transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slopes and compacting to meet requirement table 300.1 & 300.2 with lead up to 1000m as per technical specification clause 301.5.)

Granular sub-base with well graded material (Table400.1) By mixing place method (Construction of granular sub base providing well graded materials, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC and compacting with small wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per technical specification Cl. 401.) i) For grading II material.

Water bound Mecadam Providing laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 KN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming stone screening/ binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.Using stone screening Type-B 11.2 mm B) Grading III by manual means.
