Supply of liquid chlorine sodium hypochlorites (Grade-I) drinking water with 9% chlorine contents by volume conforming to IS-11673 in sealed non-chemical re-actined / oxidation LDPE containers of 60 Kg PVC tanks, as required on monthly basis with manufacturer's chlorine test certificate and manufacturer's date marked not more than 02 week old , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES :- (i) Approval of chemical (sodium hypochlorite) shall be given after verifaction of test certificates of chemical of various manufactures and other factores like chemical and safety and health hazard aspects of usage of chlorination (ii) The brand / make of the chlorination of chemical must be stated in production and certified by govt laboratory confirming compliance of specification suitable for drinking water with a declearation from the laboratory that from the technical strengh stability health safety and operation point of view this product is used for drinking water applications for consumption by humans and the brand/make of calcium hypochlorite is suitable for drinking water chlorination and its sample has been tested by Govt Laboratory.

Supply only high strength calcium based granular containing appropriate quantities of chlorination dipensates / corrosion inhibitors to prevent encrustation / scaling in distribution system in 45 / 50 Kg packing of approved and tested from Govt lab or equivalent testing agency (not more than 02 months old packing) , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make-Adani Wilmar model -PURICHLOR or its equivalent as approved by GE.

Supply only bleaching powder the chlorine intent form 35-40% chlorine powder or chromate lime, used for water treatment , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only O-tolodine chlorine solution in packing of 500 ml bottles for testing of chlorine contents in water , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out & Supply and replacing tubing suction / delivery pipe 3/8 " dia nylon PVC 3 mm thick for metering pump , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down chlorine metering pump 1/2 HP 250 Volt,50 Hz from pump house to contractor's work shop or at site, dismantling for carrying out necessary repairs / renewal of parts of motors or pump and reassembling complete chlorine metering pump sets & installation, testing etc the same after necessary repair to site , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : - (i) Transportation charges from installation to contractor works shop and back after repair are included in the rates quoted against this item and nothing extra shall be admisible on this account. (ii) Parts renewed shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items here in after. (iii) Overhauling and servicing of Pump or motor should be carried out by Auth company or dealer Which is specialist of above here in after.

Note :Old dismantled winding wire will be contractor property for which credit has been considered under schedule of credit. Single head feed rate control with shaft assembly complete cat part no-FC504DD as in replacment, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Manual chlorine dosing system (in repair) at rising pipe line under the Over head tank height not less than 1.25 meter from the ground level with the follwing job work , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge :- (i)- 20 mm Socketed hole in the vertical rising pipe line ( not less than 1.25 m from the ground level)--01 job (ii)-Supply and fixing of 20 mm Ferrule x 50 mm length at 90* degree with rising pipe -01 job (iii) Supply and fixing of gate valve 20 mm dia to connect with 20 mm ferrule -01 job (iv) Supply and fixing of bend 20 mm dia to connect with 20 mm gate valve-01 job (v) Supply and fixing of funnel 50 mm dia 03 mm thick made out of galvanized iron material at the top of bend and verticaly fitted for manualy feeding of liquid chlorine.--01 job Note:-The above manual chlorine feeding system design /drawing shall be approved by Engineer -incharge.

Daily Maintenance of Dosing pumps / Chloronome Plants and/or Bleaching powder Dozer /metering pumps of any make and model in 58 Nos Pump houses at various locations in Lucknow Cantt area including cleaning overhauling and repairs to defective chlorinator after renewal of defective spares / components of any approved Make - viz AVON / AQUAS / PEARL / MAIC/TOSCON JESCO / Declibac etc. , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :(i) Each plant / bleaching powder dozer shall be cleaned /maintained daily under supervision of EIC. (ii) Fixing of defective spares / Components are deemed to be included in the unit rate but cost of spares / components will be paid under respective items here-in-after. (iii) Daily maintenance register shall be maintained for each pump house and shall be signed by representative of contractor and the Engineer in-Charge after doing necessary maintenance.

Rubber dosing bag 48 gallons capacity 06 mm thick-as per existing dosing pump including testing as in replacment, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
