Payment made towards the functioning of Sewage Treatment Plant by day to day operation of Raw sewage pump, Filter feed pump, Return sludge pump and routine, periodical back washing of activated carbon filter (ACF) and pressure sand filter (PSF) without any room for clogging to maintain the quality of the treated water by frequently monitoring & clearing the waste accumulated at the bar screen for free flow of raw sewage into the collection tank for further treatment, etc., by mechanical means if necessary and also carry out routine cleaning of the plant area for proper upkeep of the plant in good condition and to carry out any other works as directed by the departmental officers.

144 quarters STP

Maintaining the existing Sewage Treatment Plant at 144 quarters block in Raj Bhavan Campus, Chennai including inspection of experienced professional technician expertise in STP operations visit plant on regular intervals, monitor and give suggestion on routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimum productivity levels, observing the performance of plant and maintain the treated water quality of the plant at site. The rate includes cost of chemicals & nutrients necessary for smooth operation of the plant, site visit of technician, sample collection and testing treated water quality except cost of spares, etc., complete complying with std, spn, and as directed by the deptl. officers. The technician should provide service at site whenever necessity arises and incase of emergency breakdown situations.
