Repair of under mentioned furniture items will be carried out as follows (Sl No 1.01 to 22.10 ):- (a) Removal of existing unserviceable material carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts from furniture articles as mentioned in the schedule.Supply and fixing new parts as per given specification and drg after tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, wedging, glueing,providing hinges, placing every part in-tact including polishing/painting the entire article with standard workmanship and as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.All furniture items is to be painted /poilshed only after making the entire item intact by tightening the joints. (Sl No 1.01 to 22.10 ) (b) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units/Md accns of GE (Air Force ) Bamrauli including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge (Sl No 1.01 to 22.10):- (c) All Timber shall be of 1st class seasoned hard teak wood (Shegun/ Assam Teak ) free from knots and cracks else specified in drg. (Sl No 1.01 to 22.10). (d) Anti-termite and anti-bug treatment shall be done before polishing the wooden items. (Sl No 1.01 to 22.10) (e) For wooden items:M&L for melamine polish high gloss/mate finish with spray machine applying shellac,wood filler,shelar etc after removing of complete existing polish making surfae smooth by sand paper (Emery paper) with standard workmanship as directed by EIC to the following furniture articles of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD/MAP series/TP or Similar items incl applying wax for depressed surface as well as washing with caustic soda wherever required before polishing all as specified and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Shade of polishing/pinting will be directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge. There should be atleast one day gap in each step during polishing/painting .(Sl No 1.01 to 22.10 where ever applicable ) (f): For steel items:- M&L for painting two coat of hammer Tone paint with shade as approved by EIC/GE over a coat of primer through spray machine , both internally & externally to the furniture articles, viz F/FD/DB/MAP/TP series or similar items including removing of dust, dirts,dents etc and existing paint both internally & externally by applying paint remover/scrapping without damaging to surface , applying putty to level the surface before primer/painting, all as specified and shown on drgs and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.here should be atleast one day gap between every step of painting. Note: All material will be used to execute the work should be supplied by contractor in full no peacemeal material will be execpted.(Sl No 1.01 to 22.10 where ever applicable )

Charpoy GI pipe ply top

12 mm thick plywood top BWP Grade (Make: Gold from Greenply/Gold from Archidply/ Club Prime from Century Ply) as per existing shape and size with shunken nut/bolts ,appropriate hole shall be made with elecrtic drill machine complete AND 12mm x 6mm thick teak wood beading half round along with the edges duly smoothened of the plywood and rounded at corner fixed with fevicol and headless nails all as directed by Engr-in-Chg. .

MS Flat iron of size 40x5mm duly pinted with two coat of black colour synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer to be fixed over the long rails equal to existing width of Charpoy including drilling holes suitably as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Long rail of 32 mm dia Medium grade GI pipe including cutting and threading complete all As Specified and directed. (Make of Pipe: Tata/Jindal/JSL)

Replacement of unserviceable short rail from charpoy GI pipe 32mm bore but "except pipe" including cutting threading etc as required and directed. Note : Pipe shall be used from unserviceable long rail obtained from item No 1.04 here in before.

Replacement of unservicable legs from charpoy GI pipe 32mm dia but except pipe including cutting threading etc as required and MS plate of 3mm thick and 36mm dia welded to leg flat iron and clamp 02 Nos for MNF set duly painted with two coats of black paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Chg. Note : Pipe obtained from ser item No 1.04 & 1.05 above shall be used for this items.

GI Elbow 3 way 32 mm dia medium grade ISI Marked complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Chg.

Check nuts 32 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Chg.

MS plate of 3mm thick and 36mm dia welded to leg of GI Charpoy pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in Chg.

Material and labour for welding of broken joints of Bed Hard Steel including preparation of surface complete, rest all as shown on drg and directed.

Material and labour in reapir of head board of size 635 mm X 200 mm made from 18mm thick pre-laminated particle board exterior grade both side decorative finish shade as approved by GE complete including removal of damaged head board all as specified on drawing and directed.

M& L for in replacement of Rubber shoe with new rubber shoe of size 25mm square to be fixed as per sampled .FD/MAP-II/01.of approved quality complete all as specified and directed.

Table Bed Side {FD/E6/MAP/15}

Taking out old unservicable ply from the back of table bed side and S&F new back with as per drg . Shade and texture natural teak as per existing table bed side and 6 mm thick PVC edging all around the table top, complete, all as specified and shown in drawing and as directed .

Taking out old unservicable pre-laminated board from the side of table bed side and S&F new back with 18/19 mm thick pre-laminated particle board (exterior grade), ISI marked, commercial type ( Shade and texture natural teak as per existing table bed side) and 6 mm thick PVC edging all around the table top, complete, all as specified and shown in drawing and as directed .

Taking out old unserviceable top of table bed side and S&F new top with 18/19 mm thick pre-laminated particle board (exterior grade), ISI marked, commercial type Shade and texture natural teak as per existing table bed side) and 6 mm thick PVC edging all around the table top, complete, all as specified and shown in drawing and as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable powder coated telescopic channels of 1.6mm thick and S & F new powder coated telescopic channels of 1.6mm (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/ Klazovyn) thick fitted in drawers complete all as specified and shown in drawing and directed.

Taking out old unserviceable drawers of table bed side and S&F new drawers shall be with 18/19 mm thick pre-laminated particle board (exterior grade), ISI marked, commercial type ( Shade and texture natural teak as per existing table bed side) and 4 mm thick half round first class teak wood edging all around the table top, complete, all as specified and shown in drawing and as directed .

Taking out old broken/ unserviceable handle from table bed side and S&F newe CP Handle 4" (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/Klazovyn) as approved by GE in table bed side complete all as specified and shown in drawing and as directed

Taking out old PVC edging to table bed side and S&F new PVC edging of 1.5mm thick fix in table bed side complete all as specified and shown in drawing and as directed

Material and labour in replacement for 6 lever lock of almirah large steel of Make : Harison, Godrej of suitable size with duplicate keys as per sample, fixed with screws complete all as specified and shown in drawing and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for repair to door shutter with denting and necessary adjustment incl whole body denting and tighting as required complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

a) M&L for painting two coat of hammer Tone paint with shade as approved by EIC/GE over a coat of primer through spray machine , both internally & externally to the following furniture articles, viz F/FD/DB/MAP/TP series or similar items including removing of dust, dirts,dents etc and existing paint both internally & externally by applying paint remover/scrapping without damaging to surface , applying putty to level the surface before primer/painting, all as specified and shown on drgs and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.here should be atleast one day gap between every step of painting.
