Cutting open B.T. Road or macadam road for laying water main / sewer lines and stacking the usable materials on road side for reuse in road works.
Earth work excavation above water level and depositing on bank in sandy silt or other soil, wet sand or silt, light black cotton soil or clay, sandy loam and ordinary soil for I.C’s manhole, well, infiltration, suction well including driving shoring materIals etc., for excavation purpose and removing the shoring materials and refilling the treanches with excavated earth complying with standard specifications etc., complete for first depth of 2 metres (using open timbering).
Sinking well of 1.25m to 2.0m internal dia below water level including all incidental charges, such as bailing and pumping of water, using special tools and plants etc.,complete in ordinary soil,loose soil,sandy soil and clay soil. – For first depth of 2 metres

Construction of circular manhole of 1.40m internal diameter and to the depth detailed below with R.C.C. kerb in 1:1.5:3 (one cement ,one and half sand and three HBG stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) with a overall size of 500 x 340 mm and shaped at bottom as shown in drawing to receive M.S. angle of size 100 x 100 x 10 mm as cutting edge, with reinforcement not less than 70 kg as indicated in drawing, and with vertical rods of 12 mm diameter at 60 cm c/c, 120 cm long to bind the steining wall and kerb, bottom plugging to a depth of 0.50 m with plain cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (one cement ,one and half sand and three HBG stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) with walls as detailed below. Providing relieving arch over the sewer pipe wherever it passes through the walls of the manholes, fixing of C.I. Rungs,excluding cost of CI rungs, fixing of D.I. manhole cover and frame (NECO/ACL/AREACO) of heavy duty of size 560 mm diameter and weight not less than 80 kg in cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (one cement ,one and half sand and three HBG stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) all shown in drawing, the rate includes cost of manhole cover with frame, centering, shuttering and reinforcement with TMT(TISCON / VIZAG / IISCO / SAIL) bars excluding the
cost of earth work excavation. Plastering both inside and outside for 20 mm thick with CM 1:3 (one cement and three sand) and making channels in cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (one cement ,one and half sand and three HBG stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) all as shown in drawing , rendered with cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three sand) for 20 mm thick etc., complete including curing and testing the manhole for water tightness. A drop in water level more than 50 mm in 24 hours will not be permitted - For Manhole 2.5m deep with wall of 23cm thick upto 1.5m and 34cm thick for depth greater than 1.5m of brick masonry using best available country bricks in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement & 4 sand).
Extra/rebate for every additional/reduction in depth of 0.10m or part thereof in 34cm thick wall for the circular manhole of 1.40m internal dia. and 2.5m deep.
Fixing of 150 mm wide PVC encapsulated steps in the manholes with 200 x 200 x 100 mm CC block in cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (one cement, one and half sand and three hard broken granite stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) all as shown in drawings.

Providing, laying and jointing HDPE pipe PE 100 x PN 6 conforming to IS specification and ISI marked including transportation to the site, lowering to the trenches, laying to proper grade and alignment, testing of joints with required testing equipment, including jointing and excluding specials such as bends, tees, threaded pieces, couplers, reducer, endcaps etc., complete as per IS and CPWD specifcation - 250 mm dia.
Providing, laying and jointing PVC-U pipes for use in under ground drainage and sewerage system conforming (SN8) to IS specification 15328 - 2003 and ISI marked including transportation to the site, lowering to the trenches, laying to proper grade and alignment, testing of joints with required testing equipment, including cost of solvent cement, excluding UPVC specials such as bends, tees, threaded pieces, couplers, reducer, end caps etc, complete all as per IS and CPWD specification - 110 mm dia.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator/manual means)over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10sqm on plan) including disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m ; disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dresses - all kinds of soil.
Cleaning the site by removing the slushy soil on both the sides of road and making the road fit for laying WBM and making smooth surface for vehicular traffic including disposing the same within 2 Km lead.
Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded material, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density complete as per clause 401 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision - by mix in place method - for grading I material.
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density - Using vibratory roller. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision).
Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision).
Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg. per sqm. on the prepared bituminous / granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision).
Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant of capacity not less than 40 to 60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 507.7 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, to achieve the desired compaction.- Using grade I metal and bitumen 60/70 grade.
Providing and laying semi-dense bituminous concrete with HMP of capacity not less than 40 - 60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.5 to 5 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeld, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause 508 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, complete in all respects - Using grade - I material and bitumen 60/70 grade.
