Taking down carefully the existing 33/11 KV power transformer of capacity 1.6 MVA by disconnecting HT overhead connection/underground cables and earth strips etc. from MRS using suitable capacity of crane or by any other method irrespective of type of approach available, loading in vehicle, transportation to workshop for repairs and unloading carefully. Reloading the tranformer after repairs and testing of transformer; transportation to site and unloading including placing at given position and re-commissioning complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : All the T&P required for disonnection, connection, loading and loading including necessary petty items like bolts, nuts etc will be arranged by the contractor and rates for the same deem to be included in the rates quoted.

M & L for repairs toTransformer step down 11KV/0.433 KV any type of capacity 63 KVA to 315 KVA, after dismantling the transformer body carefully, opening the top cover of Transformer for inspection /repair, drain out the transformer oil from the tank complete, taking out the core and winding assy by disconnecting the internal connections, removing the carbon/sludge deposit in transformer housing core, renewal/replacement of u/s rubber bushes and washers , replacement of tap changer winding and thimbles, replacement of silica gel, replacement of top cover gasket set including pasting with pasting material, replacement of worn out nut and bolts, replacement of unserviceable LT & HT bushes, cutting the burnt out winding and re-winding the same with suitable size of super enamelled copper wire as per existing guage, insulating the winding connection by using fire proof sleeve and fire proof tape, warnishing the coil, keeping the coils in electric oven chamber for 24 hrs to remove the moisture, Painting of complete transformer body from outside and inside by weather proof type using spray gun, Marking of MES/SM Number etc, replacement of conservator tank glass, re-intalling the core and winding inside properly, making the all connection with suitable copper lugs, refilling of dehydrated transformer oil including dehydration, reinstalling the top cover after cleaning and painting of housing, conservator tank, expulsion vent etc, Meggering the LT and HT side of the Transformer and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- Winding wire including labour for making of coils and LT/HT bushes will be measured & paid seperately.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x6mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below normal ground level, connecting to the Galvanised iron earth lead 32x6mm size, by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron and 32x6 mm earth lead protected by provision of GI medium grade pipe 40 mm bore including provision of concrete pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates with 40 mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 4kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 25x25x3 mm with lugs-02 Nos and with 6 mm dia MS bar handle made to shape, GI medium grade 20 mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom 1.5 meter long placed on top edge of earth plate common salt and charcoal filling, test point with fixing arrangements, funnel wire mesh and earth work in hard/dence soil returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m, all as per electrical plate No 5 of SSR-2010 Part-I and connecting to earth test point all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement off load tap changer for distribution transformer of any make and capacity from 63-650 KVA

M&L for super enamelled copper conductor wire of suitable gauge and size including making suitable coil bobbins as per existing size and shape with proper insulating materials, spacers, warnishing as per required grade and insulatin and assembling on core, heating the same in oven as per standard procedure at appropriate temerature to obtained desired insulatin level for the power/ distribution transformer of any capacity / any make complete all as directed.

Material and labour for replacement of bush type insulator white/brown/green working pressure 433 Volts LT side all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for servicing of 33 KV VCB / 11KV VCB / bus coupler by dismantling cleaning greasing the complete VCB with attached relays bus bar etc insulation testing, setting the contact gap by measuring as required reassembling the VCB and reinstalling back to its original position checking and repairing the current circuit panel wiring, replacement of new spares as required complete including operational testing and commissioning all as directed. (Note : New spares will be measured and paid separately under relavent item of this schedule)

M & L for carrying out primary & secondary injection test of 33 KV or 11 KV indoor /outdoor type current transformer (Set of three) of VCB's by using standard injection test method and checking the electrical circuits for fault condition, all relay testing and proper functioning incl submitting the test report all as directed by Engr in charge. (Note : PIT/SIT for VCB will be carried out in 6 months intervals and each primary & secondary injection test will be measured and paid)
