SOIL INVESTIGATION FOR DEMOLITION AND RECONTSRUCTION OF TECHNICAL FACILITIES (BLDG NO P 12 AT ICGAS DAMAN AND PROVISION OF REST ROOMS, WATCH TOWER AND ALLIED SERVICES FOR VARIOUS DSC POSTS AT ICGAS DAMAN

Boring hole as site requirement 100 mm dia by rotory drilling in soil and 75mm dia in rock for investigation in any type of soil/rock/concrete floors and sub bases refusal including boulders weathered rock upto a depth of 15mtrs or 5mtr in rock each or as directed by Engr-in-Charge alongwith SPT at every 1.50M, and carrying out SPT and other tests required for designing the foundation of bldgs for P-12 and for Watch towers ar various locations. NOTE:- (a)Test report should included all the tests as required for designing the foundation such as SPT values bore logs soil classification and also should cover the general recommendations for the proposed type, of foundation system safe bearing capacity likely total settlement etc. The report shall be submitted in quintuplicate duly bounded in a presentable manner. The units rate quoted shall be deemed to included the cost of submission of such reports and samples of soil. (b) No water will be supplied by the department. (c)The report should contain following tests, as applicable to the soil on ground:- (i) Bore hole chart. (ii) Profile of all type bore holes. (iii) Bearing capacity calculation indicating SBC of soil with the type of foundation and depth. (iv) Consolidate test on undisturbed sample. (v) Chemicals analysis of ground water. (vi) Unconsolidated and un-drained triaxial shear test (vii) Crushing strength of hard rock samples recovered. (viii) SBC of ground with type of foundation. (ix) Existing water table (if met) (x) Photographic record during progress
