RENOVATION OF POLICE STATION SECTOR 19 CHANDIGARH.

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Kota stone slab flooring over 20 mm (average) thick base laid over and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab, including rubbing and polishing complete with base of cement mortar 1:4(1 cement : 4 coarse sand) :25 mm thick

Kota stone slabs 20 mm thick in risers of steps, skirting, dado and pillars laid on 12 mm (average) thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slabs, including rubbing and polishing complete.

Dismantling of ceramic tiles or vitrified and plaster to making the surface clean for refixing the glazed tiles including removing of malba complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying double charged vitrified floor tiles of size 600 x 1200 mm (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS : 15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade. The tiles are to be fixed with 3mm grove using spacers. The tiles are to be laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm The grove are to be filled with cementitious grout mix with proportion of 0.90 kg grout and 0.10 kg of hardener for each kg of filling material.( as per preferred make list)

Providing and fixing 2'-0" deep cupboard /cabinet consisting of 19mm thick ply board (ISI) and 6mm thick ply on back side, 1 mm thick mica on the exposed surface and making shelves in cabinet. The rate further includes the cost of lipping, piano hinges, cupboard lock, screws, nails, 2 nos. fancy s.s. handles, 2 nos. magnetic catchers, fevicol and painting two coats over one priming coat and preparation of surface on board and ply surface complete in position as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and fixing of cupboard shutter consisting of 19mm thick ply board (ISI) with lipping all around and fixed with chowkhat frame with piano hinges and screws etc. and provide with ISI Alum. handle (with base plate) and magnetic catcher. The board surface is to be painted with two coats of special quality synthetic enamel paint after primer coat and preparation of surface, complete frame is to be fixed with iron nails etc. complete in all respects and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.
