Up keeping of Parks, Gardens with afforestation at RRCAT, Indore

Digging of pits/ beds in soil/murum upto a depth not exceeding 1.50m for plantations as located at site including removal of infertile soil, filling it with good earth, mixing it with FYM as per requirement, watering the same in order to settle soil and remove the air pockets and complete as per specifications as directed by Head, Horticulture Section. (Good Earth/FYM to be provided by the Dept free of cost)

Transportation of soil/murrum by truck/trolley at all leads within RRCAT campus including the cost of excavation, loading, unloading at site and complete as per the specifications and as directed by Head, Horticulture Section.(Soil/murrum measured will be reduced by 20% for payments)

Providing of Plants in polybag of size 7"X8" amongst listed species (i.e. Bhirra, Aonla,Teak,Shami, Ficus cupulata, Pipal,Garud Vriksha, Meda vriksha & other as per listed in specifications)including the cost of loading,transportation,unloading etc. as per the specifications) at RRCAT site,at desired interval during the entire duration of contract and complete as per specifications and as directed by Head, Horticulture Section.

Planting of tree species in pre-located pits by making proper place to plant the Tree saplings firmly by following cultural practices with in RRCAT campus and complete as per specifications and as directed by Head, Horticulture Section. (Plant material i.e. Tree species to be provided by the Dept free of cost)

Hire charges for deploying Hydraulic elevating/access platform(fitted onto SCV/LCV chassis) with operator for works pertaining to trimming/pruning of trees (dead & decayed branches along with tree branches restricting illumination) at height of about 10.00M from road within RRCAT campus complete as per specifications and as directed by Head, Horticulture Section. (Note: 1.Work of trimming tree branches at height with chain saw machine shall be carried out by deploying a operator and Chain saw separately hence contractor shall only quote for deployment of Hydraulic elevating/access platform fitted onto SCV/LCV chassis.2.Rates shall be Inclusive of all taxes FOR RRCAT, Indore).

Maintenance of potted plants incl. maintenance & up-keeping of potted plants placed in School premises,Director’s Bungalow,Guest house,ARPF campus & common facilities in the campus on regular basis following the cultural practices including watering,soil working,plant protection measures,foliage cleaning,painting etc as per specifications & complete as directed by Head,Horticulture Section.(Note: The payment shall be based on potted plants maintained on monthly basis 2.Quantity mentioned is for 12 months i.e.100NosX12=1200 Nos)

Complete maintenance & upkeeping of Gardens/Parks in RRCAT Residential area including ARPF Sabji Mandi site with entire garden features in the area i.e. lawns, trees, shrubs, flower beds, hedges/edges, garden benches etc. by removal of all weeds,rubbish,watering, mowing of lawns,pruning of trees,shrubs,clipping of hedge,edge, displaying of seasonal flower beds, top dressing with Garden earth and /manure , application of fertilizers, pesticides as per requirement(excluding the cost of material which shall be supplied by the department or paid separately) transporting the weeds, dried leaves,clippings of shrubs,hedges, lawns etc from the Garden/Park areas by deploying trolley or suitable means at pre located site for disposal including the cost of loading, unloading,stacking etc at all leads within RRCAT campus and complete as per specifications and as directed by Head, Horticulture Section.(Note:1.Payment shall be based on the Garden/Park areas maintained on monthly basis2.Quantity mentioned is for 12 months i.e.77000sqmX12Months=924000sqm )
