Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of stone masonry, including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lift and lead as per Technical Specification Clause 202 and directions of the Engineer in charge. (a)Dry Rubble Masonry.

Earth work in excavation for structure in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where balsting is prohibited) all earth work in cutting/ excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width , camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. All the surplus excavated earth to be dumped at dumping site(dumping sites will be arranged by the contractor on his own cost).Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dully compensated by him at his on cost in all cases. including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:4:8(One cement: four sand :eight graded crushed stone aggregate 20mm(twenty miliemtre)nominal size) mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundation complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 & 1203 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement (Fe 415) in substructrue complete as per drawings and technical specification Clauses 1002, 1005, 1010 & 1202 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802,803,1202 & 1203 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. I. P.C.C. grade M 10 (i) Nominal mix 1:3:6 (one cement : three sand:six graded)

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. I. P.C.C. grade M 20 (i)Nominal mix (1:2:4)(One cement :two sand:four graded stone aggregate 20mm (Twenty milimetre)nominal size)

Providing weepholes in brick masonry / stone masonry /plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm(one hundred milimetre) dia PVC pipe extending through the full with of the structures with slop of 1(v):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Stone masonry in cement mortar for substructure complete as per drawing & technical specification Clauses 702,704,1202 and 1204 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (a)Random rubble masonry (i) In cement mortar 1:6(One cement:Six sand).

Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawings & technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (i)Granular material

Providing and laying spreading and compacting by Manual Means stone aggregate of specific size to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening binding materials to fill up the interstices of course aggregate watering and compacting to the required density grading-I (One)as per technical specification clause 405 including carriage of materials in all leads and lift as per directions of the Engineer in charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening / binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2(Two) as per Technical Specification Clause 405. By Manual Means including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 3 (three) as per Technical Specification Clause 405.By Manual Means including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.90- 1.20 Kg./Sqm.(Zero Point Ninety-One Point Two zero Kilograme / Square Meter) by Manual means as per Techanical Specification Clause 502 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with paving Bitumen emulsion (RS-I) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30Kg. (zero point two five to zero point three zero Kilogram)per sqm on the prepared granular surface treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 30mm (thirty milimetre)thick bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes (seventy five tonnes) per hour crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.40 to 5.60 per cent (five point four zero to five point six zero percent) of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No.508 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (i) 30mm(thirty milimetre) thick.
