SPL REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM AT ASC CENTRE AND COLLEGE AND OTHER AREA UNDER GE CENTRAL BANGALORE

Excavation in trenches in hard/dense soil, not exc 1.5 mtr wide and n exc 1.5 mtr in depth; for foundation, laying pipes/elect cables etc,and getting out complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified in soft/loose/hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials of soil not exc. 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for providing trenchless bore using using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine bore of pipe size 200 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure mechanical numatic drilling equipment for passing water pipe line upto 200 mm dia under the existing bituminous/WBM road/PCC hard standings, depth range not less than 1.0 mtr and upto 1.5mtr and making good to the distrubed surfaces of road to match with its existing specifications all as specified and as directed by engr-in-charge at site. Note : 1. Quoted rates deems to be inclusive of transportation charges of Drilling machine, connected accessories and passing pipe through bore complete with required accessories. 2. Pipe will be measured and paid separately.

Taking up or down old CI/DI/GI water mains up to 100mm dia (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead all specified and directed by engr-in-charge at site. Note : Earth work shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item.

Supply and Laying Ductile Iron pipe with spigot and socket ends S/S including specials, Class “K-9”, 100 mm dia size conforming to IS-8329-2000 ISI Marked for elastometic gasket rubber at oneend & other end plalin push on type in any length laid in trenches including testing on completion all specified and as directed. Make :- Jindal/Tata pipes/Electro Steel/LANCO. Note :- Excavation and earthwork will be measured and paid separately.

Supply and laying in replacement GI tubing 50 mm dia medium grade galvanised with all fittings to laid in trenches including necessary cuttings threading and fixed new fittings such as bends, elbows , sockets, nipples, tappers and all reducers for making branch connections etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and laying in replacement GI tubing 40 mm dia medium grade galvanised with all fittings to laid in trenches including necessary cuttings threading and fixed new fittings such as bends, elbows , sockets, nipples, tappers and all reducers for making branch connections etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and laying in replacement GI tubing 25 mm dia medium grade galvanised with all fittings to laid in trenches including necessary cuttings threading and fixed new fittings such as bends, elbows , sockets, nipples, tappers and all reducers for making branch connections etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F Cast iron heavy duty sluice valve conforming to IS-14846 class PN 1.6, ISI marked, with flanged end and drill hole with non raising high tensile brass spindle and iron wheel,long service life and leak-tightness even after 1000 open/close cycles complete suitable for following bore of pipe including suitable flanged joints with suitable bolt, nuts, washers gaskets etc complete testing after installation of sluice valve for the bore of pipe 100 mm.Make: kirloskar/Zoloto/Venus as approved by GE.

S & F Cast iron Air release valves conforming to IS-14845 class PN 1.6, ISI marked, with double orifice (chamber ball),cuts loss of water when mains are full, Releasing air accumulated under pressure in pipe during normal conditions, of size 100 mm dia bore and fixing up in water supply mains of size 100 mm dia bore. Make: kirloskar/Zoloto/Venus as approved by GE.

S & F Cast iron fittings for spigot and socket pipes such as bends (any type, radius and angle), Tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decresing or double socket etc) Tee pieces single branch, 'Y' junction double branch, cross (all socket or socket & spigot), collars, caps and plugs for jointing upto 150mm bore CI pipe including jointing material complete all as specified and directed. Make: kirloskar/Zoloto/Venus as approved by GE.

M&L Cast iron fittings for flanged pipes such as Bends, Tapers, Tee pieces (single & double branch) any type and angle/radius and straight connecting pieces but all end flanged for jointing upto 150mm bore CI pipe complete all as specified and directed. Make: kirloskar/Zoloto/Venus as approved by GE.

M&L Cast iron fittings for connecting pipes one end flangeed and other socket or spigot and bell mouth pieces one end flanged other end tapering as bell mouth, for jointing upto 150mm bore CI pipe including jointing material complete all as specified and directed. Make: kirloskar/Zoloto/Venus as approved by GE.

M&L for construction of brick masonary valve chamber of inner dimentions 1.20 m X1.20 m X1.20m with 23 cm thick brick masonary wall in CM 1:6, PCC base in 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate of 7.5cm thick, plastering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 both inner & outer face of brick masonary, 7.5 cm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) copping, angle iron frame 40x40x6 mm size with 3mm thick MS sheet chamber cover single opening arragnment with lock system, all as directed including painting the steel surface with two coats of first quality synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer after necessary preparation of surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site.

Development of tube well by over pumping 25% using suitable size diesel engine driven turbine pump after completion of item above, including yield testing for tube well as per IS requirements. NOTE :- Yield test of bore well shall be carried out in the presence of rep of Accepting Officer.

Supply and fixing Ball valves (float valve) high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated Aluminium rod & high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe of size 20 mm bore dia. Make PRAYAG or equivelent as approved by GE.

S& Fixing in replacement Stop valves,Cast Copper alloy, screwed down, high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions and fixed with suitable size ISI marked including taking out of old unserviceable stop valves for the following sizes :- (a) Suitable for 20 mm bore pipe

(b) Suitable for 25 mm bore pipe

(c) Suitable for 40 mm bore pipe

(d) Suitable for 50 mm bore pipe

Taking down and lowering the serviceable/new column pipe by using borewell lifting mechanical crane including necessary lifting tools/accessories complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Supply of column pipe with collar shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.)

Supply only galvanised iron borewell column pipe of 40 mm bore dia, heavy duty.

Supply only Heavy duty collar suitable for GI Pipe of size 50 mm bore fixed in repairs.
