Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and notexc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, for laying cables/pipes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth in soft/loose and getting out soil, complete all as specified and as directed

Returning, filling in (soil), including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material of any type of hard/dense soil from site to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up or down G.I tubing and connections of 150mm bore including cleaning for refixing, and removing from site complete all as specifed and as directed.

Taking up or down G.I tubing and connections of 100mm bore including cleaning for refixing, and removing from site complete all as specifed and as directed.

Cast iron sluice valve (ISI marked), PN-1.6, class II, conforming to IS-780 with brass spindle and double flanged ends of size 150mm dia, complete with iron wheel head, mild steel nuts, bolts, washers etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of cast iron air release valve with two air outlets of size 100 mm dia as per IS 14845 including all jointing materials like high pressure rubber gasket nuts, bolts, washers with arrangement for fixing, including taking down complete,complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in replacement of GI pipe (Conforming to IS 1239, medium grade, galvanized plain end with all fittings laid in trenches of size 150 mm bore including all fittings such as bends (any type, radius or angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) TEE pieces single branch, 'Y' Junction, double branch, cross collars, cap and plugs, MS flanges complete bends, TEE pieces, collars, elbow, tail piece etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) MS Flange, Hot-Dip Galvanized (GI), Nominal bore 150mm (6''), Flange OD 280 mm with thickness 16 mm, conforming to IS 6392, The flange shall have 08 bolt holes on the specified bolt circle as per IS 6392 and shall be provided at every 6 m length of plain end GI pipe. Each flange shall be welded to the GI pipe. A 3mm thick gasket shall be placed between the mating flanges and the joint shall be secured using 08 Nos. M20 nuts and bolts at each joint. The cost of flanges, nuts & bolts, gaskets and connecting of flanges to pipeline by welding will be deemed to be included in the quoted item rate. (ii) All standard fittings such as bends (any type, radius or angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) TEE pieces single branch, 'Y' Junction, double branch, cross collars, cap and plugs, MS flanges complete bends, TEE pieces, collars, elbow, tail piece etc jointing are deemed to be included in the quoted item rate. Make of fittings - ISI marked. (iii) Jointing of pipe line will be done through flanging only and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (iv) Excavation and earthwork will be measured and paid separately. (v) Any special fittings to be fabricated at site as per typical site condition will be measured and paid seprately. (vi) Welding of flanges to be done by trained personnels at site and included in the quoted rate for normal flange joints for nominal length of pipes. However if the welding of pipes (other than normal flanged joint at nominal length) is required the same shall be measured and paid separately. (vii) Execution of work should be carried out without hampering the daily routine water supply.

GI water tubing (Conforming to IS 1239, Medium grade, with all fittings such as sockets, bends, elbows, tees, short pieces, connectors, back nuts, diminishing pieces, caps, plugs and unions etc., in old existing or new routes, laid in trenches or under roads, bore of pipe 100mm, complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Flanges, if required, shall be paid under the respective item of Schedule 'A'
