M&L for clearing the non accessible roof top surface of concrete and providing water proofing treatment to roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane centre core 100 micron HMHDPE outer film 20 micron each having thickness 3mm weight not less than 3 kg/sqm with 100mm overlap laid as per manufacturers instructions, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge with following courses of description below :- (a) Applying evenly a coat of bituminous primer confirming to IS-3384-1965 @ 0.40 kg/sqm on prepared surfaces till the surface is properly impregnated. (b) Second coat of bonding material using blown grade bitumen 85/25 conforming to IS-702 @ 1.20 kg/sqm ( c) third course is laying APP based modified membrane described hereinbefore with 100mm overlap in longitudinal direction and 100mm in tranverse direction, all joints and changes in all directions should be curved with cement mortar (1:3) mixed with SBR latex @ 200ml per bag of cement and cured well before laying the membrane. (d) Fourth coat of bonding materials using blown grade bitumen 85/25 confirming to IS-702 @ 1.20 kg/sqm (e) Apply a coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.20 kg/sqm in case of non accessible.

(d) Fourth coat of bonding materials using blown grade bitumen 85/25 confirming to IS-702 @ 1.20 kg/sqm (e) cement concrete tiles of size 30cm x 30cm, 22 mm thick, machine pressed (rubber mould type), confirming to IS-13801, laid over and including 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6, set and jointed and pointed with neat cement slurry and no pigment, complete all as directed.

M&L for 25mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (20mm graded stone aggregate) in sub base, flooring, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for factory made PU coated, machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block of any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 Grade with coloured pigment rubber moulded with vibrating system, with and including 50mm thick sand cushioning, including in CM (1:3) in edges of pavers, complete all as specified and directed. Note : The cost of sand cushion and plastering to edges is included in quoted rate.

M&L for sunken floor treatment as follows :- (i) M&L for demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position of WC’s/Bathroom/ Kitchen etc in sunken portion area, removing demolished material completely and old waste pipe from sunken portion and cleaning the side/bottom surface of sunken floor with wire brush, complete all as specified and directed. (ii) M&L for application/forming of waterproofing liquid membrane moistening the prepared surface for proper dispersion and penetration and applying two component cementitious elastomeric water proofing coating damp block 2k as per manufacturers specifications. The treatment shall be carried out to the entire bottom surface and vertical surface upto the bottom height of wall tiles. Adequate curing to be done on vertical surfaces and ponding test for 48 hours on the bottom surface to be carried out complete all as specified and directed. Make :- M/s Asian paints, M/s fosroc, M/s Dr. Fixit or equivalent approved by E-in-C's branch

NOTE : (a) Warranty for water proofing to be submitted by the contractor as per manufacturer norms (b) M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:3 on fair faces of brick work and concrete surfaces duly mixed with liquid WPC @ 150 ml in 50 Kg of cement by weight, on vertical and bottom surface, complete all as specified and directed. (c) M&L for 25 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (12.5mm grade stone aggregate) as in padding duly mixed with liquid WPC @ 150 ml in 50 Kg of cement by weight, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The WPC will be measured and paid separately. (d) M&L for PCC 1:5:10 type E2 (40mm grade stone aggregate) as in mass concrete, filling in two layers in sunken portion, complete all as specified and directed. (e) spouts of 25mm dia GI pipe light grade projecting 450mm clear of face outer a wall with mosquito proof cap on inner face of pipe shall be provided to drain out seepage water ,including cutting holes and making good if needed as specified and directed. (f)The Contractor shall carry out the work with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract,Warranty for water proofing to be submitted by the contractor as per manufacturer norms
