Excavation of earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soils including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification of Ministry of Rural Development for Rural Roads August, 2004 (Two Thousand Four),C-1603.1, 1603.2 (Clause - One Thousand Six Hundred Three point One, One Thousand Six Hundred Three point Two) to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials by all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts at specified places. in specified manner, systematically with due consideration to avoiding adverse effects on environment, trimming, filling of unevenness, blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions to the entire satisfaction as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth plying of traffic. All useful material such as stones, shingle, aggregate and slates shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side not less than 7.10 cubic metre ( Seven Point One Zero ) in all cases, failing which recovery at the rate of Rupees @ 300/ only (Rupees Three Hundred Only) Amounting to Rs. 2130- ( Two Thousand One Hundred & Thirty )only .per cubic meter shall be effected on pro-rata basis in each running bill. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.including haulage of mateial with in all leads, lifts and carriage of materials and as directed by the Engineer in-charge.

Earth work in excavation for all types of road structures such as retaining wall, breast wall, culverts, drains and parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary Rock,Hard rock, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited ) as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specifications Clause 305 and 1603.4 as per direction of the Engineer -in - charge

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4: 8 (One cement: Four sand: Eight graded stone aggregate 40mm (forty milimetre) nominal size) and curing complete including cost of form work in foundation and plinth, and as per directions of Engineer - in- Charge

Random rubble masonry uncoursed/brought to courses with hard stones of approved quality in sub structure in cement mortar 1:6 (one cement is to six sand) for structure like retaining walls, breast walls, wing walls, toe walls, abutments and similar works etcetera, including curing complete

Random course rubble dry stone masonry with hard stone of approved quality in sub structure for structure like retaining walls, breast walls etcetra in all heights/depths as per MORD technical specification clause 702,704,1606.5 and as per directions of Engineer - in- Charge including hauling /carriage of materials to various location through all modes of transportation all leads, lifts and other incidental complete in all respect.

Providing and laying P.C.C. M-20 copping on the top of the winw wall,return wall & Breast wall etc.complete as per drawing and techanical specification clause 612,710.1204,3.1(1:2:4)and as per directions of Engineer - in- Charge including hauling /carriage of materials to various location through all modes of transportation all leads, lifts and other incidental complete in all respect.

Excavation in foundation, trenches etcetra in earth work in all kind of classification of soil such as pick work, jumper work, pick jumper work, blasting work, soft and hard blasting and doing work in saturated soil, including chiselling or wedging out rocks where blasting work is prohibited or any other mixed variety of soil includinjg shoring, strutting, de-watering and pumping or bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depths or any quantum of water including slush which may arise during de-watering or removal of slush, lift upto any height stacking the excavated soil clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm (Fifteen centimetre) layers, when required into plinths, sides of foundation etcetra consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as per specification, approved drawings, design as per the entire satisfactions and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes, royality charges, octroi, sale tax, GST. malkana and any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing stone filling under floor with dry hand packed and ramming ,grouting in proper order and filling with interstices spalls for making the surface for under layer of cement concrete flooring excluding the cost of cement concrete as per HPPWD specifications, to the entire satisfaction and direction of Engieer in charge including hauling carriage of materials to various location through all modes of transporation within all leads, lifts and other incidental complete in all respect. The rate inclusive of GST,octri,royalty,malkana and all type of texes imposed by the Govt.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for foundation, footing, basis of columns etcetra and mass concrete within all leads and lifts and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge and other incidentals.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for Beams, cantilever, girders and lintels. Sides and soffits of beams, beam haunchings, cantilevers, bressumers and lintels upto all depth and in all heights from floor including all taxes, GST, carriage of material within all leads and lifts and as per the direction of the engineer-in -charge and other incidentals.
