For Road Works:- Construction of Embankment with Material obtained from Borrow pits Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300 2 & 300-1 .The size course material in the mix of earth ordinarily shall not be exceed 75mm.(Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 305). Compensation for earth will vary from place to place and will have to be assessed realistically as per particular ground situation. In case earth is available from Govt. land, compensation for earth i.e. rs 43.00/m3 to be deducted from the Rate in Col. 4.

Dismantling of flexible pavements and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 metres, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately (Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 202) By Mechanical Means Bituminous course

Excavation in Soil using Hydraulic Excavator CK 90 and Tippers with Disposal upto 1000 metres. Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location within all lifts and lead upto 1000m (Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 301).

Granular Sub-Base with Graded Material. By Mix in Place Method Construction of granular sub-base byproviding graded aterial such asnatural sand/crushed gravel/crushedstone/combination depending uponthe required grading spreading inuniform layers with motor grader onprepared surface, mixing byappropriate mechanical mixure (withcontrolled addition of water), and compacting with vibratory roller toachieve at least 98% of the maximumdry density for the materialdetermined as per IS:2720 (Part 8),complete as per clause 401. Grading-III Material. With North BengalVariety Stone chips.

Wet Mix Macadam Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate conforming to the grading of table 400- 13 revised vide table 2 of IRC : 109 (2015) to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density .The thickness of a single compacted layer shall not be less than 75 mm.(Reference to MoRT&H's specification 406. With N.B. Variety Stone metal/chips.

Providing and applying primer coat with cationic bitumen emulsion SS1 grade conforming to IS:8887 on prepared porous granular surface including clearing of road surface and spraying primer using mechanical means (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause502). On WMM/WBM surface @ 0.85 kg /sqm with SS1.

Tack Coat Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic bitumen emulsion (RS1) complying with IS:8887 using emulsion pressure distributor on the prepared ituminous/granular /cement concrete pavement surface cleaned with mechanical broom and high pressure air jet (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 503). On bituminous surface @ 0.25kg /sqm. with RS-1.

Tack Coat : providing and applying tack coat with Cationic bitumen emulsion (RS1) complying with IS:8887 using emulsion pressure distributor on the prepared bituminous/granular /cement concrete pavement surface cleaned with mechanical broom and high pressure air jet (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 503). On Granular Surface @ 0.275kg /sqm. with RS1.

Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam Providing and laying dense graded bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP using crushed aggregates of specified grading,premixed with bituminous binder of approved grade @ 4.0% (min) for Grading -1 and 4.5% (min) for Grading -2 by weight of total mix and filler(Cement /hydrated lime / Rock dust ) as per table 500-10 and mix design done as per table 500- 11and job mix formula as per clause 505.3.3 transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory tandem roller and with pneumatic tyre roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a pressure at least 0.56 MPa as directed by E-I-C, and to achieve the desired compaction as per MORT&H specification clause No. 505.3.5 complete in all respects (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 505). For Grading 2 (26.5 mm nominal maximum aggregate size ) Layer Thickness 50-75mm With Pakur Variety Stone chips and VG 40 (Bulk).
