I Furniture works

1 Designing, providing & supplying cot using built up section in combination of 25mm and 18mm thick calibrated marine plywood conforming to IS 710 grade of approve ply wood of M/s Century/M/s Merino/M/s.Greenlam and glued with approved adhesive. with 1mm thick laminate approved shade walnut Bronze code : 10510 SF of M/s Merino on all entire surfaces including providing 2mm thick matching colour PVC edge binding of required width/1st class teak wood beading wherever required. Approved adhesive Fevicol-SH shall be used for joining the play and suitable size SS screws of sufficient numbers shall be provided to obtain proper fixity including providing suitable size cot clamps, bolt & nuts, bushes and any other necessary hardware's required for jointing the members calypsos screws etc., all material, labour, wastages, approved adhesive, at all heights. Level and lead etc., all as directed by EIC for the following : Note : (1) All members shall be provided with 1mm thick approved laminate all around including underneath support member and PVC edge binding unless otherwise specified.(2) Proper hardware shall be provided for properly fixing to main longitudinal member, intersection of supports members and other parts of the cot.

Construction of cot : (i) Head Board: The construction of Head board 750mm height and Leg board 400mm height shall be made using 25mm thick ply wood. Cross support member using 25mm thick 150mm height ply shall be fixed to head & Leg board as support at the level of bed support ply. (ii) Side long member : Connecting member to head board & Leg board made by providing 25mm ply 150mm wide on external side and 18mm ply 110mm fixed to 25mm ply back to back for stability and to support bed supporting ply. (iii) Underneath support structure : (a) One middle support along the length of the cot connecting to head board & Leg board, shall be made by joining 18mm ply 110mm deep placing back to back (total built up section of 38mmx11105mm) for stability. (b) Three numbers (3 Nos) of built up section using 18mm ply 125mm deep placing back to back (total built up section of 38mmx110mm) as cross support. (iv) Bed support Ply : Bed Support ply shall be 10mm thick provided with 0.8mm thick approved laminate at top & bottom with around PVC edge binding in 2 piece of approximate size 36"x78" for king size bed and 30"x 78" for Queen size bed and 36"x78" for single bed respectively. Note : (1)The length of head board, Leg board, side long member and underneath cross support members shall be as per the given dimension of King, Queen and single bed size.

2 Providing & supplying approved make coir mattress of M/s Duro flex model "Back Magic" Duro Bond Pro / M/s Kurlon model "Duo Rest Popular "as per the manufacturer construction & specification including transportation at all leads including providing pure cotton bed spread and two pillow covers of specified size of M/s Bombay Dyeing etc., all directed by EIC.

2.1 King size coir mattress of size 72"x78" (Approximately 1830mm x1990mm) along with two complimentary pillows including approved colour & design cotton bed spread and two pillow covers having 300TC, breathable, 100% cotton fabric that balances softness and durability of approximate size 108"x 108"etc., all as directed by EIC. 2.2 Queen Size coir mattress size 60"x78" (Approximately 1525mm x1990mm) along with two complimentary pillows including approved colour & design cotton bed spread and two pillow covers having 300TC, breathable, 100% cotton fabric that balances softness and durability of approximate size 108"x 108"etc., all as directed by EIC. 2.3 Single bed size coir mattress of size 36"x78" (Approximately 915mm x1990mm) along with two complimentary pillows including approved colour & design cotton bed spread and two pillow covers having 300TC, breathable, 100% cotton fabric that balances softness and durability of approximate size 108"x 108"etc., all as directed by EIC. 3 Providing and fixing mirror of superior mirror of M/s Saint Gobin or equivalent of approximated size 600mmx1800mm with PVC moulded frame of approved colour & shade of minimum size 40mm x 20mm provided with suitable size SS brackets for fixing to wall. The mirror shall be backed with 6 mm thick ply/HDHMR sheet with two coats of paint on the entire area etc., all directed by EIC. Each 3

4 Providing and fixing modular furniture for the following units viz, storage unit, book shelf, Cupboard, side table, Study table, etc., with open and close type, with & without shutter, at all heights in all floors etc., using 25mm/18mm/12mm/8mm approved quality marine calibrated plywood as per latest revision of IS- 710 of M/s. Century /M/s Merino/M/s. Greenlam or equivalent wherever specified for entire furniture units and 8mm thick approved plywood for cupboard back, Drawer back & bottom bedside storage back side etc., with approved colour and make 1mm thick laminate of M/s Merino " Walnut Bronze shade of approved shade for the entire furniture on all exposed surfaces properly framed and jointed, built up sections wherever required including labour charges approved brand hardware's, locking fragmented complete, including cost of labour for fixing building hardware like concealed handle 150mm/100mm profile handles, Magnetic catch, soft closing box/cabinet hinges, Speciality locks of M/s. Ebco matching with Secu Rite cupboard lock with brass keys (P-SRC-20B) etc., complete as per specifications including providing and fixing 2mm thick PVC edge binding of M/s. Rehau or M/s. Marino lipping of suitable width on all cut edges, wooden plugs, SS star headed screws, nails, etc., complete with all lead and lift all as directed by EIC.

4.1 Providing and fixing study table of size 1200mmx600mm and height 750mm using specified 25mm marine ply with 3 Nos vertical support, table top and one under mount storage unit comprising of one drawer and one openable shutter with a inner adjustable shelf etc., The back of unit shall be 8mm thick ply with lamination on both sides etc., all as per the drawing and as directed by EIC. 4.2 Providing and fixing bedside unit of size 500mmx450mmx450mm using 25mm thick approved ply for carcase box with one drawer and one open shelf and 100mm skirting all-round laminated on all exposed surfaces with all required approved fittings & fixtures. Each 7

4.3 Providing and fixing 2 doors wardrobe of size 900mmx2100mmx600mm deep. The cupboard shall be provided with 2 drawers of 15mm height and 2 Nos adjustable shelf using 18mm specified play for carcases expect back panel. The back shall be 8mm ply with groove jointing system. One No Ovel shape hanger rod of required length with suitable end brackets shall be provided. Each 6

4.4 Providing and fixing open book shelf of size 600mmx1800mmx300mm deep using 18mm ply laminated on exposed surfaces with 2 Nos shelf and 80mm facia plate for each shelf . The shelf shall be at 425mm from the top and rest place shall be divided equally by providing a shelf as per the drawing and as directed by EIC. Each 3

5 Providing and Suppling 4 Seater Solid teak wood Dining Table with 4 chairs + one long bench of dining table size 1500mm x 900mmx750mm height of M/s. Durain or equivalent model all as per the manufactured specification including 40 density cushion with inner cotton cloth cover and outer removable cotton fabric cover of approved colour with high quality zipper etc., The approximate sectional size of profiled leg shall be 125mmx125mm. Table top shall be 25mm thick marine ply with matching lamination/veneer on both side including 8mm thick toughened blue tinted glass with edge polishing etc., all directed by EIC. Each 1

6 Providing and suppling Complete set comprising of standard size teak wood sofa set 3+1+1 seater and one centre table made out of 1st class teak wood with approved design and wooden members for frame work, cross supports and legs etc., All the wooden joinery shall be of proper with standard jointing method viz Tongue & groove joint/Miter joint/Mortise & Tennon joint etc., using approved grade jointing adhesive Fevicol-SH, including preparing surface to smooth for receiving final finishing application of melamine to get matt/ satin finish using proved products of M/s Berger/M/s Asian/M/s Nerolac products or equivalent including preparing and finishing the entire surfaces of wooden members for applying melamine sealer coat to surface and preparing the surfaces to smooth using different grade course to fine including applying minimum 3 coats of wooden French polish and final satin finish melamine protective polish as directed by EIC. The seating cushion shall be 50D for seating and 32D for back support approved quality cushion of M/s Duro foam/ Ms. Sleepwell with inner neutral colour cotton cover cotton cloth and outer heavy -duty upholstery cotton cloth having 400-450 GSM removable zipped cover etc., all as per directed by EIC. Complete Set 1

(i)Sofa Set Back support frame : The back support outer frame shall be made using teak wood approximate sectional size 75mmx40mm and approximate size 1600mm long x 650mm for single seater and 530mmx 650 mm for single seater. The internal cross vertical member shall be section size 45mmx 40mm - 15 Nos maintaining uniform gap for 3 seater and 3 for single seater.

(ii)Sofa Set Seating support frame : The seating support outer frame shall be made using teak wood approximate sectional size 75mmx40mm and approximate size 1600mm long x 620mm/650mm for 3 seater and 560mmx560mm for single seater. The internal cross vertical member shall be section size 45mmx 40mm - 17 Nos maintaining uniform gap for 3 seater and 5 for single seater.

(iii)Sofa Set end support frame with legs : The legs shall be made using teak wood approximate sectional size 75mmx50mm profiled to approved shape & design and geometric shape. Ther total height is approximately 750mm.

The hand rest member shall be made using section size of 100mmx 40mm and 570mm long profiled to slight curvature or in any geometric shape. The top & bottom cross member for legs shall be main support frame shall be 75mmx40mm.

The top & bottom cross member for legs shall be 75mmx40mm.

The cross diagonal member of leg and side support assembly shall be 45mmx30mm with criss-cross arrangement as shown in the reference image.

(iv) Centre Table : The approximate size of the centre table wooden frame shall be 850mm x 500mmx450mm. The design shall be matching to sofa set. The legs shall be made from 75mm x40mm section profiled to approved shape & design and geometric shape. Ther total height is approximately 450mm.The cross diagonal member of leg and side support assembly shall be 45mmx30mm with criss-cross arrangement as shown in the reference image including supplying 12mm toughened light blue or approved tinted glass with edge polishing for centre table top.

6 Providing and suppling study chair using compressed plywood profiled and to desired shape with proper support for seating and back rest all as per the manufactures specification and providing 40D cushion for seating 30D for backrest wrapped with inner plain fabric and outer removeable cotton fabric with zipper all as directed by EIC and as per the reference image. Each 4

7 Providing and melamine hand Polishing in high gloss/matt finish polish on veneer work laid for stage steps & risers and stage front face in 350 pax auditorium matching to existing wooden flooring colour/shade texture with following process in the sequence as detailed below: 1. Preliminary Surface preparation : The surface to be polished is rubbed with sand paper 80/120 no. and then with sand paper of 160/180 no. 2. Sealer Coat : Applying two coats of sealer with spray gun and allowing sufficient drying time for 1st coat and 2nd coat is allowed to dry for 8 to 12 hrs. 3.Surface preparation : On drying of sealer coat, surface to be prepared by rubbing with emery cloth of finer grading with suitable chemical/water to remove excess sealer layer and make the surface further smooth. 4. French Polish coat : Polishing the prepared surface in 3- coats with polish to match with the existing flooring using matching pigment etc., all as directed by EIC. 5.Mealamine protective coat : The surface is applied with special grade melamine fillers to fill all the small and big holes/grooves etc. Filler coat to be allowed to dry for 4 to 6 hrs after. After that, the surface to be rubbed using light wet cloth and the surface is to be further allowed to dry for 12 hrs.

6.Finishing melamine protective coat: After all the above process, finally prepared surface to be applied with 1st coat melamine as a scratch resistant coating to protect the surface from stains and moisture using brush/roller. This 1st coat is allowed to dry for 24 hrs then this dry surface is again fine wet rubbed smooth, which is further allowed to dry for 12 hrs. Two or more coat of melamine protective is applied to get desired finish with brush/roller to get satin/ matt finish etc., complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Final coat to be done in 1 or 2 layers without gap of time.)

8 Providing and fixing Wall panelling of specified design using 8mm thick HDHMR sheet fixed on existing wall and fixing WPC rafter of width 150mm/300mm of approved batten/pattern design in teak wood colour using approved adhesive in all geometric shape etc., all as directed by EIC. For Polishing in high gloss/matt finish melamine clear polish on veneer work in required colour/wooden shade texture with following process in the sequence as detailed below: 1. The surface to be polished is rubbed with sand paper 80/120 no. and then with sand paper of 160/180 no. 2. Applying two coats of sealer with spray gun and allowing sufficient drying time for 1st coat and 2nd coat is allowed to dry for 8 to 12 hrs. 3. On drying of sealer coat, wet rubbing with emery cloth of finer grading with ample water to remove excess sealer layer and make the surface further smooth after this wet rubbing, then surface is applied with special grade melamine fillers to fill all the small and big holes/grooves etc. Filler coat to be allowed to dry for 4 to 6 hrs on which again a light wet rubbing is done this surface is further allowed to dry for 12 hrs. 4.On this, 1st coat of melamine polish is applied with spray gun using melamine clear polish and melamine thinner in required proportion. This 1st coat is allowed to dry for 24 hrs then this dry surface is again fine wet rubbed smooth, which is further allowed to dry for 12 hrs. The final melamine polish is applied with compressor pressure spray gun using melamine clear polish and melamine thinner mixed in required proportion complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Final coat to be done in 1 or 2 layers without gap of time.)

* Bidders are requested to fill all the cells highlighted in the blue colour and shall upload in the financial bid section of the CPPP portal. Any deviation in this regard will result in bid rejection.

Note 1 The rate shall be inclusive of composite GST. Financial Evaluation and ranking of bidder will be based on total amount of value quoted by the bidder for all the line items

1) Agencies shall not make loud noise which disturbs other residents.

2) Agencies shall visit the flat before submission of tender

3) All fittings7 fixtures, furniture hardware materials shall be of approved make viz M/s. Ebco/ M/s. Hettich or equivalent as directed by EIC.

4) All Ply wood work shall have minimum 1mm thick laminate on all surfaces and suitable thick PVC edge binding / 1st class teak wood beading unless otherwise specified. Materials shall be of approved make as directed by EIC.

5) Quoted rate shall be inclusive of all fittings & fixtures/ accessories & wastages. All fittings like, soft closing hinges, Profiled handles, telescopic drawer channel etc., shall be stainless steel approved make of M/s.Ebco or equivalent.

6) All construction debris shall be disposed to the dumping/disposal places as specified by the municipal/statutory authorities unless otherwise specified with out any extra cost to department.

7) Construction water and power will be supplied by the department free of cost.

8) All furniture shall be factory made and modular type. Plywood edges shall be provided with 2mm matching colour PVC edge binding properly glued and finished properly wherever applicable.

9) All furniture's shall be modular type with customised to sizes as per the actual dimension available at site for each unit.

10) Quoted rate shall hold good for furniture's of all shapes & sizes in straight/curvilinear and any geometric shape.

11) Fixing of storage units shall be using M-8/M-10 size anchor fasternes wherever required of M/s. Wurth/ M/s. Hilti including drilling holes in concrete/ masonry wall unless other wise specified.

12) Joining of lamination sheet within the standard dimension of 1200mm x 2400mm is not permitted.

13) Laminate lines shall be vertical for all shutter and horizontal for drawers.

14) All the modular furniture's shall have 100mm skirting unless otherwise specified wherever functionally required except cot.

15) Approved laminate shade for all furniture shall be 1mm thick Walnut Bronze- product code -10510-SF of M/s. Marino Laminates unless otherwise specified.

16) Approved laminate shade shall be 0.8mm thick Walnut Bronze- product code is 11510- SF of M/s. Marino Laminates for bed support ply.
