Mandatory in case Bid security amount is prescribed in STD Para 5.1.2 - The Bid Security shall be deposited in cash through e-payment gateway or submitted as Bank Guarantee bond from a scheduled commercial bank of India or as mentioned in tender documents. In case the tenderer is (i)Any firm recognized by Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) as 'Startups' - shall be exempted from payment of Bid security deposit and shall submit certified copy of the registration/ Valid document issued by DIPP (mandatory if applicable)

In case the tenderer is (iii) Labour Cooperative Societies - shall deposit only 50% of the Earnest Money Deposit and shall submit certified copy of the registration/ Valid document issued by the relevant Ministry/ Labour commission (mandatory if applicable).

The tenderer shall comply with the provisions of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act 1970 and the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Central Rules 1971 as modifed from time to time, wherever applicable and shall also indemnify the Railway from and against any claims under the aforesaid Act and Rules.
