REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF EARTHING OF EM INSTALLATION INFRASTRUCTURE AT AF STN THANJAVUR

Material and labour in repair for maintenance free chemical earthing comprising of one No chemical earthing having specification as follows complete all as specified and as directed:- (a) Copper electrode of wall thickness minimum 2mm not less than 3m length with not less than 50mm outer dia including copper strip of size 50 x 6mm minimum 2m long connected with 50mm dia copper electrode. (b) Fixing of copper earth electrode by drilling / boring 175mm dia hole 5m deep in any type of strata, placing electrode along with extention earth strip 50 x 6mm, 2 mts long and mixing earthing soil resitivity improvement compound Gel / powder (Terralon) min 10 KG per bore and 75 KG soil resistivity improvement compound (Electrodite) mixing homogeneously as per manufacturer instruction. (c) FRP earthing display board 254 x 380mm made out of plastic duly fixed with 610mm height made of plastic hollow pipe of 20mm dia information related to type of earthing, earthing result, due date of testing etc. (d) PCC earthing pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 of internal size 300mm x 300mm x 300mm with 120mm thick wall and 700 x 700 x 150mm thick bed concrete and 50mm thick precast chamber cover of RCC 1:2:4 type B1 reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM Jali (weight not less than 4.00 kg/Sqm), complete all as shown in electrical plate No -3 of SSR part - I complete. (e) Contractor must visit the site before quoting the tender to understand the difficulty and cost for carrying out the job in the station.

Supply and pouring Earthing soil resitivity improvement compound Gel enhancement compound transparent liquid Gel or black powder in 10 kg packing complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L in repairs for providing earthing with copper earth plate electrode 600 X 600 X 3.15mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level ) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5m below ground level connected to copper strip 20 x 3mm thick for earthing lead fixed by means of nuts,bolt,washers etc.of copper / brass connected to earth test point complete all as specified in electrical plate No 3 of SSR 2009 part I ,including salt charcoal dust and necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil,GI water pipe with 20mm dia.funnel & wire mesh PCC pit with CI cover and frame etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Copper strip 20 x 3mm upto 7.5m length is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

M & L for providing earthing with GI earth plate electrode 600 X 600 X 6mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level ) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5M below ground level connected to GI earth strip 32 x 6mm thick for earthing lead fixed by means of nuts,bolt,washers etc.of GI including earth test point complete all as specified in electrical plate NO 3 of SSR 2009 part 1, including salt charcoal dust and necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil,GI water pipe with 20mm dia.funnel & wire mesh PCC pit with cover frame etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note : GI strip size 32 x 6mm upto 7.5 m length is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

M&L in repairs fixing of 20 x 3 mm Copper earth strip continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to E&M installation / Equipment/ Machinery etc through on wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required including fixing arrangment as required like epoxy insulatos on wall/pole etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- All fixing arrangement as required for complete work and all the joints shall be made with brazing to get proper conductivity and all as specified are included in quoted rate.

M&L in repairs fixing of 25 x 4 mm GI earth strip continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to E&M installation / Equipment/ Machinery etc through on wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required including fixing arrangment as required like epoxy insulators on wall/pole etc.. Note:- All fixing arrangement as required complete work and all the joints shall be made with brazing to get proper conductivity and all as specified are included in quoted rate.

M& L for PCC earthing pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 of internal size 300 x 300 x 300mm with 120mm thick wall and 700 x 70 x 150mm thick bed concrete and 50mm thick precast chamber cover of RCC 1:2:4 type B1 for reinfoced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM Jali (weight not less than 4.00 kg/Sqm), complete all as shown in electrical plate No -3 of SSR part - I complete including demolition of old U/S earth pit chamber and clear the site complete all as specified and as directed.
