ITEM NO.01 : Demolition of Cement Concrete (Unreinforced Concrete) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete and removing the unserviceable rubbish to a distance not exc 2.5 km all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO.02 : Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar including all quions arches, pillar or any other description and in any situatoin etc complete and removing the unserviceable rubbish to a distance not exc 2.5 km all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO.03 : Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) and (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) in any position not otherwise specificaly provided for complete and removing the unserviceable rubbish and removing the unserviceable rubbish to a distance not exc 2.5 km complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO.04 : Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 metre wide for laying of cables, pipes, foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits,manholes, pier holes, etc.not exc 10 sq metre on plan and getting out including dressing/trimming sides and levelling/ grading and ramming of bottom of excavation complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Note for item 9 to 13 : Returning/filling shall be measured and paid separately
ITEM NO. 14 : Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each layer, complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

ITEM NO.26 : PCC 1:3:6 type C2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in foundation, filling and mass concrete of drains complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO.27 : PCC 1:4:8 type D2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO.28 : Supplying, aligning & Installation of Precast circular reinforced concrete (M-40) manholes complete with and including S.F.R.C. cover (heavy duty, HD-20 grade designation),conical top (Top portion) of internal dia 0.56 metre at top,internal dia 1.0 metre at bottom,0.80 metre internal depth and bottom solid cylindrical portion 0.30 metre deep, with wall thickness of 200mm Type-I manhole conforming to I.S. 12592, collector for DWC inlet 150/200, DWC outlet 150/200 pipes & future pipes connecting arrangements all as specified and shown on drawing no.SK-1054 Sheet 1/3 . The manholes shall be precast with M-40 concrete grade building in with end caps where shown or necessary, including cost of all materials labours and T&P incl Providing orange colour safety foot rest of minimum 6mm thick plastic encapsulated as per IS :10910 on 12mm dia bar conforming to IS :1786 having minimum cross section as 23X25 mm and over all minimum length 263 mm and width as 165 mm with minimum 112 mm space protruded legs having 2mm tread on top surface by ribbing or chequering besides necessary and adequate anchoring projections on tail length on 138 mm and suitable to with stand the bend test and chemical resistance test as per specifications and having manufactures permanent identification marks to be visible even after fixing including fixing in manhole complete all as directed and specified.
ITEM NO.29 : All as per item no. 28 here-in-before but for circular precast reinforced manhole rings only for increase of manhole depth of manhole Type-I but for depth more than 0.8 metre upto 2.0 metre complete all as directed and specified. Note:- Various manholes of different depths are to be provided at site as per site requirement. The tenderer shall quote rates for depth beyond 0.8 metre top portion. Actual payment shall be made based on actual depth provided at site for increse in depth or for each manhole beyond 0.8 metre depth top portion. Tenderer should note this aspect while quoting rates against this item.
ITEM NO.30 : All as per item No 28 here-in-before but having conical top (Top portion) of internal dia 0.56 metre at top,internal dia 1.2 metre at bottom,1.00 metre internal depth and bottom solid cylindrical portion 0.30 metre deep, Type-II manhole conforming to I.S. 12592 with wall thickness of 200mm as per drawing no. SK-1054 Sheet 2/3.
ITEM NO.31 : All as per item no. 30 here-in-before but for circular precast reinforced manhole rings only for increase of manhole depth of manhole type-II but for depth more than 1.0 metre upto 2.8 metre complete all as directed and specified. Note:- Various manholes of different depths are to be provided at site as per site requirement .The tenderer shall quote rates for depth beyond 1.0 metre top portion. Actual payment shall be made based on actual depth provided at site for increase in depth for each manhole beyond 1.0 metre depth top portion. Tenderer should note this aspect while quoting rates against this item.
ITEM NO.32 : All as per item No 28 here-in-before but but having conical top (Top portion) of internal dia 0.56 metre at top,internal dia 1.5 metre at bottom,1.30 metre internal depth and bottom solid cylindrical portion 0.30 metre deep, Type-III manhole conforming to I.S. 12592 with wall thickness of 200mmas per drawing no. Note:- Various manholes of different depths are to be provided at site as per site requirement .The tenderer shall quote rates for depth beyond 1.3 metre top portion. Actual payment shall be made based on actual depth provided at site for increase in depth for each manhole beyond 1.3 metre depth top portion. Tenderer should note this aspect while quoting rates against this item.
ITEM NO.34 : Cutting into existing RCC / Brick masonary manholes for connecting new drains of 150mm dia, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 mix type B-1, using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate smooth finished and reforming benching as required for 150mm bore pipe complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO. 35 : Cutting into existing RCC / Brick masonary manholes for connecting new drains of 200 mm dia, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 mix type B-1, using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate, smooth finished and reforming benching as required for 200 mm bore pipe complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

ITEM NO. 37 : Cutting existing roadwork for laying of sewageline/pipeline and making good including providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern over 150mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded aggregates, earthwork etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge
ITEM NO.38: Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate) in surface channels and drains complete including use of necessary formwork (straight or curved, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO.39 : Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/ stopped ends etc complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO.40 : Add or deduct for each 25 mm girth or part thereof over or under 30cm ditto in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/ stopped ends etc complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO.41 : Mild Steel Framed work( Fe-290W (Gde-E-165 quality-A) as in guard bars/grills, gratings, etc.. with ends of bars shouldered/welded and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars/grills complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
ITEM NO.42 : Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc.,of required strength, thickness & size/shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO.43 : Cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2,using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate 75 mm thick as in sub base, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO.44 : 110mm dia PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints or jointed with solvent cement joint, laid in trenches or in floors,type B, conforming to IS 13592-1992 , jointed & tested including taking out/down old pipes complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note - Rubber rings for pipes and fittings shall conform to IS 5382-1985.
ITEM NO 45 :Preparation of new or previously untreated surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint ,complete all as specified and directed
ITEM NO.46 :Brick work using using burnt clay bricks of sub class 'B' class designation 15 straight or curved on plan exceeding 6.00 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) including corbellings etc, raking out joints internally and also externally (above G.L.) for plastering and externally joints pointed flush below ground level in the same mortar as the work proceeds complete all as specified.
ITEM NO.47 : Rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4, on brick or concrete surfaces mixed with ISI marked water proofing compound, including finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement, complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: Integral water proofing liquid shall be measured and paid separately.
ITEM NO.48 : Supply only integral water proofing liquid ISI marked complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO 49 : Flush pointing to brickwalls in cement mortar 1:4 complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO 50 : Providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in in lintels upto 1.5m clearspan, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands,plinth courses, string courses,lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones,bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, including necessary form work complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO 51 : Precast cement concrete Grade M 30 manhole cover SFRC (steel fibre reinforced cover) factory made including suitable precast RCC frame/collar as per manufacturer's instructions, heavy duty as approved by GE as in cover slabs 100 mm thick and similar articles complete as per site requirement, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO 52 : Preparation of new wall surfaces and applying three coats of white wash on plastered/unplastered surfaces complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO 53 :Preparation of new or previously untreated steel and iron surfaces of any description n exceeding 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of anti corrosive piant over a coat of red oxide primer complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO.54 : TMT steel bars 10mm dia and over, of grade Fe-500D corrosion resistant steel (CRS) cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO 55 : Cleaning and removing of blockage from manholes of any size and upto 1.5 metre depth including removing the soil, roots,mud/sludge or any other materials from the manholes in working/running condition and flushing the entire stretch with water to make the stretch clean and functional. removal & depositing any type of sludge/debries to excavated area, spreading necessary insecticides where sludge is deposited all as specified by Engr in - Charge.
ITEM NO 56 : Cleaning and removing of blockage from manholes of any size depth exceeding 1.5 metre and not exceeding 3.00 metre including removing the soil, roots,mud/sludge or any other materials from the manholes in working/running condition and flushing the entire stretch with water to make the stretch clean and functional. removal & depositing any type of sludge/debries to excavated area, spreading necessary insecticides where sludge is deposited all as specified by Engr in - Charge.
ITEM NO 57: Cleaning and removing of blockage from manholes of any size depth exceeding 3.00 metre and above including removing the soil, roots,mud/sludge or any other materials from the manholes in working/running condition and flushing the entire stretch with water to make the stretch clean and functional. removal & depositing any type of sludge/debries to excavated area, spreading necessary insecticides where sludge is deposited all as specified by Engr in - Charge.Note for item 55 to 57 : This work involves working in foul conditions and foul situations
ITEM NO 58 : Providing precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces set in cement mortar 1:4l including necessary form work complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
NOTE- : (i) Excavation and earth work for laying of DWC HDPE Pipes/NP Pipes/Cutting of manholes, roads , paths, walkways and any other work executed under this contract shall be carried out with utmost care and with all safety gears in place after obtaining permission from the respective authority. Any damage done while execution to any existing structure, pipe line, electric or communication cable shall be made good by the contractor exactly as per the existing specifications at his own cost. In case any delay caused by the contractor in making good the damage, demurrage as per norms or as decided by the GE is additionally chargeable to the contractor. BAILING,PUMPING OUT OF WATER,TIMBERING,PLANKING,STRUTTING,SAND CUSHIONING/LEAN CONCRETE FOR STABLIZING OF MUD STRATA if required shall be carried out .The rates quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be inclusive of all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (ii) Precast mabhole Manufacturer shall have minimum three years experience.Make shall be approved by CWE for precast manholes
Note: For the purpose of arriving at lumpsum amount, the amount of credit Rs 2666000.00 shall be deducted from the total amount arrived.
