Removing excavated materials/surplus soil out side of defence land up to a total distance of 1.5 Km and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cleaning, flushing of chocked and de-silting of outdoor sewage lines n.exc 300mm internal diameter of any depth upto three meter . The cleaning shall be carried out with mechanized operation by means of diesel/electric operated vehicle mounted hydraulic operated high pressure suction cum jetting machines fitted with pump of requisite capacity and the sludge sucked out with super succer machine of required capacity and sent to storage tanks for further disposal to the authorised disposal sites. The sludge deposited in the sewage line shall be fully cleaned and disposed off the same outside the MoD land at any distance and without any additional cost on the same day when it was taken out. The job shall be carried out with safety precaution equipments and with strict supervision complete all as directed. Note:- (a) The service provider/contractor during the mechanized operation shall be equiped with gas monitor, nylon rope ladder, torch light and compressor blower etc alongwith the sewage cleaning truck mounted suction/jetting machine. (b) Manual cleaning operation/scavenging is prohibited. (c) The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall interalia deem to include the cost of providing skilled driver and operator and supervising Engineer including provision of water for jetting and removal of sludge/silt/liquid/mud and sand (in foul position) etc (d) The effective length of pipe for the purpose of payment shall be excluding the length of manhole.

Desludging of existing chocked manholes of depth upto 2.5 m for liquid, solids and slurry material by mechanical means using hydraulic operated high pressure suction cum jetting sewer cleaning machine having jetting tank capacity of minimum 5000 Ltr and suction tank capacity of 300 Ltrs and 260 LPM with minimum 145 bar suction flow of 10200 LPM including skilled driver and operator and supervising Engineer including provision of water for jetting and removal of sludge/silt/liquid/mud and sand (in foul position) etc outside the MOD land/premises at any distance all as directed by Engr-in-Charge including loading, unloading, digging out pit of any size in any type of soil, surring sludge/silt/spoil/mud etc into the pit and spraying bleaching powder over the entire surface complete including taking of the manhole cover for the entire process as above and replacing the manhole cover in its position. Note :- (a) The service provider/contractor during the mechanized operation shall be equipped with gas monitor, nylon rope ladder, torch light and compressor blower etc alongwith the sewage cleaning truck mounted suction/jetting machine. (b) The cleaning shall be carried out with mechanized operation by means of jetting machines and the sludge sucked out with super succer machine of required capacity and sent to storage tanks for further disposal to the authorised disposal sites. (c) Manual cleaning operation/scavenging is prohibited. (d) The unit rate shall deem to include for all material, labour (skilled/unskilled), tools and plants and requisite quantity of water for the entire operation and transportation arrangements. (e) The sludge so removed shall include the cost of dewatering also.
