Supply installation testing and commissioning Silent type Diesel Engine Generating set 415 volts 315 KVA or nearest higher size available, 3 phase 0.8 power factor, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM self exicited self regulated brushless AC generator installed including AMF panel, suitable for ambient condition at Gwalior and confirming to condition under ISO 3046, IS 10002, BS 5514/5000 with capacity of 10% overloading for one hour in every twelue hour duration and including the following accessories :- (A) Alternator :- Synchronous alternator rated at 315 KVA suitable for continuous operation at 1500 RPM generating 415 volts at 0.8 p. f (lag) suitable for 50 Hz, three phase, 4 wire system. The alternator shall be brushless,single bearing,self excited&self regulated with an AVR .The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally confirm to IS: 4722 : 2001 The salient features of the alternators are :- (a) +-1% voltage regulation (max) in static conditions. (b) IP: 23 protections with class ‘H’ insulation. · (c) Permanent lubricating bearing. · (d) Permissible overload of 10% for one hour in 12 hours of operation.

(B) Diesel Engine: - Adquate capacity of Diesel engine water cooled to drive independently above alternator and after considering de-rating as per site conditons after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories directly coupled through flexible coupling multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per relevant IS/BS complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under :- i) Fly wheel with housing ii) Cooling system :- Moulded radiator with fan & belts. iii) Cooling Water pump : - Centrifugal type belt driven. iv) Exhaust System :- Exhaust System complete with exhaust piping of suitable dia with MS pipe medium grade. Turbo charger type Exhaust manifold Silencer : Residential type v) Fuel System :- Fuel injection system with fuel injectors, fuel injection solenoid switch controlled by governer electric operated/ (as recommended by OEM) for 1% speed /frequecy regulation. vi) Lub oil System :- Lubricating oil filter,Lubricating oil pump vii) Air Intake System :- Air intake Manifold Air cleaner dry type viii) Governer electrical type ix) Starting System :- Electric Self starter with and including battary charging alternator 12 Volts DC. x) Batteries :- Batteries of maintenance free of capacity 12 V, 150 AH- 01 No complete with copper conductor multistranded leads of suitable length from self starter to the battary terminals complete with initial charge and initial fill of electrolyte all as specified. xi) Generator Monitoring Panel : - Comprising of all standard items as per standard manufacturing, iginiton key switch and start / stop arrangement, indications for Engine parametes, hour run meter, RPM meter, Engine oil pressure indicator, water/coolant temperature indicator, Battery volt display. xii) Safety Controls : - Engine low lube oil pressure high water temperature and over speeding of engine. xiii) Coupling arrngement : - Flexible coupling xiv) Accessories :- AVM Pads built- in or separtely mounted to manufactrer base frames. xv) Base Frame : - Base frame is fabricated either in ISMC channel or in sheet metal. The base frame will be primer coated and painted. The base frame is rugged in construction and designed for mounting Diesel engine and alternator close coupled, with cross members mounted on AVM. The base frame shall have provision for mounting of acoustic enclosure & control panel on it. The base frame is having provision of lifting hook for convenient lifting of complete set, i.e. along with canopy, engine and alternator. xvi) MS/Steel flexible pipe line to and from the fuel tank to the DG Set. xvii) Battery Charger shall be provided as per manufacturer guidelines. xviii) 1 No battery of 12 V in charged condition with its leads.

C) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE : Acoustic enclosure shall be powder coated and fabricated out of 16 SWG CRCA MS sheet. The silent canopy shall be of nut bolt type construction. Critical processes of punching is done on CNC machines to maintain dimensional accuracy of holes within 0.1 mm. Powder coating is done after seven-tank surface preparation process of sheet metal. Canopy panel and doors shall have inside lining of FIRE-RETARDANT foam as acoustic material & Rock wool for hot zone.Adequate hinged doors shall be provided to canopy, one door shall have glass window for control panel visibility. (i) Manufactured by OEM suitable for 100 KVA DG Set. (ii) It Should be as per latest rules and regulations of Ministry of Environment and Forest and Pollution control board. (iii) The generating set battery should be inside the enclosure. (iv) Fuel tank :-Daily service fuel tank of 8 hours of continuous operation, fabricated form 14/16 SWG sheet metal complete with drain, inlet and outlet connection and fuel gauge. (v) Construction Details/specification are as follows : - (a) Outer body :- CRCA Sheet of 1.6mm thick.

(b) Doors :- CRCA sheet of 1.6 mm thick. (c) Sound Insulation :- 100 mm thick rock wool (minimum density 64kg/Cum)/ fire resistance foam/puff as per OEM/ as per standard manufacturing to achieve desired decibel level. vi) The acoustic should be composite in construction and fully assembled integral unit. vii) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button. viii) The enclosure should be suitably internally illuminated by CFL/FTL Lamp fittings. ix) The noise level should be 75 dB at 1m under free field conditions. x) The acoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treatment process. The base frame should be painted with epoxy based black shade. Note :- (i) The complete DG Set shall be procured from authorised OEM of the manufacturer of engine. A certificate in this connection shall be submitted to the GE. (ii) Circulation system to achieve desired inside temperature of acoustic enclosure, if required shall be provided as per OEM recommendation.

(iii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of 12 hours test run at site as specified in PS and IS requirements in presence E/M Offr detailed by accepting officer, all testing arrangements/ equipments shall be made available by the contractor for tests. (iv) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of lubricant oil, DHPP for 12 hours testing and final successful acceptance test. (v) Anything missed out above but technically required for efficient working of DG Set is deemed to be included in quoted rates. vi) Design / drawing of the AMF panel & DG SET showing the dimensions is to be obtained from DG SET/ panel board manufacturer / supplier & is to be got approved from Engr-in-charge/GE before placing final order to the manufacturer. vii) The electrical connection of digital Multi Functional Meter in the AMF panel is to be done from load side so that monitoring of various parameters viz. Voltage, Current, KW, KVA, power factor, frequency etc can be done of both SEB mains & DG mains. viii)The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of engine oil & final successful acceptance test.

D) Control Panel :- Control panel shall be fabricated from 16/14 SWG sheet and powder coated after seven tank treatment process: (i) Microprocessor based generator set monitoring and control system consists of LCD display and to monitor operator interface, fault history, alternator data, Engine data, porvision for service adjustement and caliberation of DG control functions, Engine controls, engine protective functions, alternative protective functions etc. (ii) Instrument fuses and control wiring. (iii) Indication lamps for set running and load on. (iv) Bus bar including suitable capacity of MCB, including CTs, cable etc.

E)AMF PANEL- Auto mains failure panel outdoor/indoor type 415 volts 50 HZ suitable for 315 KVA Gen set, made out of 16 gauge MS sheet cubical type floor mounted front and rear door open able with locking arrangment duly powder coated suitable for and incuding the following :-

(i) Microprocessor based electronic control box for automatic switching ON & OFF of DG set and transfer of load equiped with microprocessor based controller 100% auto and 100% by pass arrangment, adjustable time delay to engine start, standard setting 3 second adjustable 0-10 seconds, adjustable time delay on tansfer to normal 0-30 minutes time delay (adjustable) to engine cool down 0-5 minutes, adjustable time delay on transfer to emergency 0 -15 sec As Per Manufacturer Recomendatation

(ii) Heavy duty air break contractor 4 pole 415 volts, 630 A, 50 Hz, AC supply system with dust over and operating coil voltage 230V with 2 NO 2 NC aux contracts all as required for safe operation under/ over voltage.

(v) Digital frenquency meter 04 digital flush Mfd 96 Sqmm size for frequency range 30 to 55 Hz with built in transducer or As Per Manufacturer Recomendatation

(vi) Digital power factor meter 440 volts 5 amps with built in transducer flush Mfd 96 mm square size or As Per Manufacturer Recomendatation

(vii) Indicator lamp LED type 230 volts for Gen/mains supply ON/OFF indication and different relay position etc all as required and recommended by manufacturer.

(viii) DC operated relays as required for remote operation, fault indication and outo switching OFF in case of fault in DG set or As Per Manufacturer Recomendatation

Note :- (a) The AMF panel shall be integrated with respective LT distribution panel and all electrical connections done using copper bus bars PVC sleeved of appropriate rating but not less than as of LT panel.
