Note for item No.1.00 to 29.00:- 1) Use of all scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles, etc., necessary for execution of work and protective measures. 2) Removing of nails, making good holes, cracks, etc. 3) Work in patches, and in narrow widths. bands, cornices, pilasters, etc. and cutting in edges to line, where necessary. 4) Spreading and removing coverings to doors, windows, floors, fittings, etc., to protect them from splashes. 5) Removing and replacing furniture, movable cupboard, chicks, blinds, etc. 6) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery, electric fittings, wiring, etc. of drops and splashes and leaving premise, clean and tidy. 7) Quantity of material required for the entire work shall be made available in two phases as directed and kept in safe custody of MES. 8) Rates quoted for item No.1.00 to 29.00 are deemed to be inclusive of cost of these provisions i.e., Note No.1 to 7.
