Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and getting out complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick (soil) complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Removing excavated surplus soil n exc. 50 metre distance and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

M & L for dry sand cushioning with a layer of sand 8cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm deep after laying, stretching the cable in trenches and punning the sand layer gently complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge . ( Punning thickness 18cm of sand shall be measured)
